Interesting... I'd like him on the outside where he could use his size.. you'd ideally want to see some formation with pop and chism lined up like we did with Jules and Amendola..we need to het production out that slot position
No I think McD has it correct with him playing some in the slot. He's a big target and reliable. He's too slow outside and shouldn't be taking snaps from our most productive receivers in Boutte and Diggs.

I get that.. but wouldn't you want him outside? That's where he thrived in Buffalo those deep post patterns.. agreed on taking snaps.. realistically Hollins should be role specific. I like him in the red zone. I want to see Williams integrated more as we go along here.. need to loosen up defenses.

No I don't want Hollins outside where faster players like Diggs, Boutte and Williams are. You're talking to the person that predicted last week that McD should put Hollins in the slot for some plays...and it worked. Why change that? Keep doing what is working. Fix the OL penalties and get Gonzo back and we are looking at 9-10 wins.

@Real fan 02 Think of Hollins as a Move TE in the slot.

Speaking of gonzo.. just posted on him.. Will we see him this season?? We need him.. obviously. I mentioned I'd want Williams on the outside Zuma my guy.. id prefer Hollins in the red zone where he can use his size and physicality to make TDs catches. It's encouraging to see the offense move the ball and score like yesterday.

You mean exactly what happened yesterday with his TD? He looked good there.

The Patriots had 28 sacks all of last year, for reference.

And 9 of those were against da Bears so 19 sacks total against QB's not named Caleb Williams. smdh

Yes, I was agreeing with your overall post. Was just adding that i like when he's used like yesterday..

But his mechanics!

Almost doubled Kermit's offensive output today.

they will prob be the fav but we matchup with them better than pete/geno

I really thought our CB depth was going to be better. My apologies to the people who rightly called for trying to find more CBs during camp when Gonzo went down.

The other thing I have seen from that Stevenson catch, is that Boutte was being doubled at least on that play. So my guess this is why he didn't get much, Miami took him out of the game for the most part.

Right there with you. I was fooled by training camp reports telling me Alex Austin and DJ James were studs. In reality Austin is just a depth piece and DJ James is just bad. Fortunately Gonzalez returning will make the depth chart right again.

CB1: Gonzalez, best in the game
CB2: Davis, a CB1 moonlighting as a CB2
CB3: Jones, skills of a CB2 in the body of a CB3
CB4: Austin, he's not the best, but won't see the field much
CB5: IDK, probably not that important, will likely end up being Ballentine
