Don't look now but:

Will Campbell - Zero pressures
Jared Wilson - Zero pressures

Aside from the penalties, which were bad - I'm not excusing that, the OL were lights out. The D Line were much much better in the second half.

To fix

Penalties
Tackling
Secondary.

And quite the redemption arc for Maye and Rhamondre.

The rookies outplayed the vets on the o-line today. Moses with his penalties, Bradbury with his muffed shotgun snap, and Owenu seemed to struggle a times.

Who would ever think we could have 3 total catches for Pop, Boutte & Henry COMBINED, and still win!?

Rham has been the brunt of a lot of my ire, but he played one of his best games today.
We don’t win this game without Rham.

Crazy thing?

As poorly as the D played, game isn’t close if the O line doesn’t have 700 penalties

We have to talk about our safeties

I dont know if Peppers would be much better in Coverage

But if we are going Cover 2 in 70% of our playes, those two NEED to be A LOT better. They were atrocious in the back of the defense
Well, ya. Secondary has been carved up so far.
Even when Gonzo comes back, he's going to need some time to get back in game shape.

I'm still fine with Woodson, I thought he was in the right position a lot, and made some good plays. Hawkins was pretty bad. He only gets bailed out by how abysmal Alex Austin was.

We're clearly a very new team & an early work in progress.
But, this will do a lot to help get things on track.
Because so many self-induced issues. (penalties, bad ST, D giving up X plays)
But these are things that they can work on, and fix.
I agree but these are fixable but the two things I'd have banked on with a Vrabel coached team is that they'd be disciplined and good tacklers.

Entertaining game. Highs and lows everywhere. Not just our game, but there has been many good games in general this season.

Miami was doing pre-snap shifts a *lot* trying to confuse the young linemen not used to stuff like that.

It doesn't explain why Morgan Moses was seeing ghosts.
Because it’s contagious, passed on from Darnold.

I thought Maye passed effectively rolling out in the first half, but interestingly, I didn't notice him doing that as much, if at all, in the second.

Campbell had a clean game. Cant ask for much more than that. Well done, rook.

Clean but not spotless since he had that false start on 4th and 5 that made us go for the FG.

I actually yelled "I hate Spillane" at the TV today... I mean do you count missed tackles as a stat?
The most overhyped LB I've ever seen. I don't know what we do there.
Elliss was awful the first half, but made some good plays in the 2nd. Maybe Mapu or Dugger moving to full time/starting LB??

I'd say much of what's broken would be easier to fix if they had a full-time DC

At least we have them.

Also I'm going to give it up a bit for Landry and Chiasson. Those two pushed the pocket a good majority of the game, and wore those Miami tackles out.
Chassion & Spillane both are kings of spastic running around and good optics for football people, but never make the play.
