If Bill is petty enough to do all of this then let it forever be on the record that he is also petty enough to bench Malcolm Butler in a Super Bowl for no good reason at all even at the cost of a championship. Which it was.

No need to overthink it anymore.

After nothing came out as to why he benched Butler, I never for a second thought there was a valid reason. He would have made it public after that benching spectacularly blew up in his face. He was just that arrogant.

To this day, I still cannot talk about that without getting pissed. That was when I got off the trust Bill will do what's best for the team train. Until that episode, no matter how little I liked his personality, I never doubted that his actions were always in the best interest of the team.

Bill’s being petty and it’s not a good look but it’s how he wants to handle it. Now, if I had a son on the team and the HC was making it tougher for my kid to get scouted by all NFL teams, I wouldn’t be too happy.

It’s not unusual at all for any business to tell its staff to wear their apparel. Had it been a player it would be a total **** move because players always work out in their college shirts and sweats.

Certainly plausible. Who knows. Based on the pettiness of both sides I wouldn't put it past either side to dictate apparal sensorship
