Interesting twist to the roster this week, the third TE Jack Westover is now listed as a FB...

@Ian maybe update the roster here, which lists him as a TE?

Its an interesting wrinkle... and really wondering how they will use him moving forward... don't remember him working with the back during preseason, but could have missed it... the rebirth of the H-Back perhaps?

If Westover is a full time FB, will they elevate TE CJ Dippre to the 53 man roster for a 3 man TE set?

Raiders are putting 8 in the box. Gonna dare Maye to throw, he will throw short passes not beyond the sticks, lots of 3 and outs. Maybe 1 or 2 completes over 15 yards. Struggling.....

Luckily Raiders corners aren’t good so if there’s time to throw matchups favor NE.

Not gonna lie, this is concerning. Hope it’s nothing….
Short ankles is what it is.

What happens is that the legs and torso are longer like the Brady statue.

That's what they want. Passing plays, Bradbury is the weak link target. Beat him like a drum, matchup matchup matchup. Then beat up Moses late in the 4th, too old to keep up. Play games with Wilson and Nasty also when Maye has to throw. Maye will get rattled, trust me. 20 -13 Raiders. Bumming me out but that's what gameplanning is all about.

Ankles aren't an issue?
Sorry Ross, have you played on a sprained ankle?
I've played on a low ankle sprain, and it most certainly has an impact.
Now I have no idea how serious it is, but low ankle sprains can be a huge issue from my experience.
I’m saying they’re not often an issue preventing a guy from playing. You’ll often see a guy sprain his ankle in the game itself and keep playing. Could it slow him? Sure but I’m more worried about that with a WR vs an OL.

Raiders don’t have the personelle to stack the box. If Diggs is even a shadow of his former self their corners will get roasted without safety help. They have one of the worst secondaries in the league

Agreed... Diggs will roast them and Hollins, Boutte and Douglas are no slouches either.

I've heard we have some tight ends and running backs who can catch, too.

The Raiders aren't very good personnel wise, that is not a talented team. Pete Carroll will have them playing at a higher level than most coaches, he can also scheme lesser offensive lineman to a better performance with his West Coast magic... but they're just not very talented.

If this team loses to the Raiders at home then it's on our coaches for not having this team ready and it will be pretty pathetic.

They better score more than 13. That's freaking the Jacoby Zone right there. Have to do better. I can handle losing but have to put some points up on the board at home.

LT Kolton Miller and Center Jordan Meredith are their only good offensive linemen. That defense lists Adam Butler as a starting DT and has 31 year old Landon Roberts at middle LB, they have Maxx Crosby yes... but outside of that they're weak at both defensive and offensive fronts.

If the Pats can't score and prevent scoring, there is a real execution problem on the Patriots.

I want to live in whatever alternate universe this is located in.

I think that’s pretty close to what will happen in the real universe

Raiders haven't won in Foxboro since 1994. I think that drought ends unfortunately. Gonzo being unavailable is a major loss. Campbell will be in for a major test vs Crosby and as good as he was in preseason I'm not sure if he's ready for this especially if he's not 100%. Can Maye take advantage of mismatches in the LV secondary? How good is our OL really.

The ankle injury for Campbell is brutal when his best quality as a lineman is his mobility/athleticism. Hope he doesn't get spanked by Crosby for four quarters.
