This has an opening post with good commentary and information, which we definitely recommend reading.

Jets traded up from 23 to 14, jumping in front of the Patriots, in order to take him. With the Patriots seemingly set on a QB (given Mac was out there), the initial thought was that they were trying to trade ahead of the Cardinals in spot 16 in order to take him.

However, it came out the next day that the Jets were actually trying to jump the Patriots, as they seemed to think they were more interested in Vera-Tucker than they were in Mac.

Would have been an interesting alternative timeline. We wouldn’t have had Barmore in such a scenario.

Since your profile tells us you drink the kool-aid I'd expect a stronger take like The Collaboration forced BB to take Mac but he was playing mind games with da Jete to make them think that he wanted Vera-Tucker, but in fact all along he wanted Cole Strange. Bill plays chess in three dimensions, the rest play checkers in one.

You're a little fan still though

Hmmmm so they drafted a failed QB in '21 but still got another chance with Aaron freaking Rodgers.

Personally I'd refer to him as Aaron The Freak Rodgers, or simply Ahole.

Hmmmm all 31 other teams had that same chance but only Da Jete went for it.

It cost them some draft capital, two wasted seasons, $75M in cash and $56M in dead cap.

SOFJ.

Doesn't matter who the second option was. Point was they drafted one in '21 and didn't get fired when he failed they got a chance with Rodgers to make it right.

So Mrs Lincoln, outside of that, how was the play?

His grandfather already said he'd stay in collage if he thought the jest were in a position to draft him.
He's going to do an elongated Blutarsky if that's the requirement.

Welll... this was the consolation prize for a ****ty day against the raiders...

At least our coaches didn't waste timeouts...

And miss 2 2point conversions ... and lose by 2...

Lmao!

Lmao... I think Rodgers with the steelers is going to be the only version of him I will actually enjoy watching play.

It was worth it all just for that sound byte.

I love how the reporter felt the fish nibbling, let him take some line, set the hook and reeled him in!

I prefer "jet nation" for my dose of humor...

However if Drake Maye can not pick apart their secondary... we are ****ed. As the jets fans say... Rodgers is a statue.
