4 of the 6 Captains are players he inherited

But Maye, Jones and Schooler have never been captains before, and Henry was a "replacement" captain last year (which I kinda hate, who wants that? Just pick your six, injuries happen but if you selected good captains then they'll still be there on the sidelines coaching guys up til they're back)

Point is that the captains are basically a complete turnover and two of them are guys Vrabel brought in and signed himself.

If the team improves to what we are predicting (7-10 wins) and Maye gets him the ball regularly…I think he’s sticking around for 2-3 years. The money is good for someone at his age just coming off ACL surgery…IMO.

“Henry is the sole returning captain from last year’s Patriots team. However, he did not begin the 2024 season as a captain (original 2024 captains: David Andrews, Ja’Whaun Bentley, Jacoby Brissett, Joe Cardona, Jabrill Peppers, Deatrich Wise, Jr.). Henry replaced David Andrews when the now-retired center landed on injured reserve in October.”

ILB is not a position that lasts a long time. Too violent like RB. It will be fun to watch Spillane this Sunday.

Spillane is 29. He's going to be a staple for 2-4 years.
