Very interesting bit, but the last 30-35 seconds is intriguing. He mentions how he knew Revis inside & out & that he got the best of him during the Pats-Seahawks SB (even when he wasn’t targeted). We know Revis wasn’t “Revis” during that playoff run, but has anybody actually watched the film/reps of Baldwin & Revis specifically??
They also rolled coverage to Revis' side, which is why Chris ****ing Matthews had 100 targets. What a clown thing of Baldwin to say about Revis. Baldwin’s only catch for a 3 yard TD was because he used the ref to pick Revis. He also only had one target, so clearly he wasn’t roasted Revis like he claims.
The TD/pick part is true, but Revis wasn’t all-world during that playoff run (remember the Baltimore game with Steve Smith??). However, Baldwin is saying that he was winning his routes/releases vs Revis even when he wasn’t targeted. Essentially, he knew how to “win” vs Revis’ technique. We all know Revis is an all-time CB, but all corners get beat sometimes. **** happens; and there have been receivers that have beaten Revis (I.E Stevie Johnson, AJ Green, Moss, Steve Smith, Baldwin etc…) I haven’t watched the tape & I don’t vividly remember their respective matchup outside of the pick TD play, so I can’t confirm. What a clown thing of Baldwin to say about Revis. I'm not arguing that and totally agree with you that Revis had clearly lost a step, but he was still solid. There were some games he had trouble with like Steve Smith in the divisional round. The TD/pick part is true, but Revis wasn’t all-world during that playoff run (remember the Baltimore game with Steve Smith??). Sign the freak..
I wouldn't. Always a GM/Team that will try to improve their team at all costs. He will be signed if/when he's healthy.I’d be shocked if a team signs him.
Our two 1sts would've been better; and they could've had their choice of Barnore, White, or Milton the Toaster Williams.
