If BB succeeds at NC (and I believe it's very likely he will), for many, many people here and elsewhere it'll never be because he was the coach there.

I believe that BB wont finish the 5 years at UNC because he will be offered the right NFL job. The right job needs to have an established QB in house. Stevie Beleichick will succeed BB as UNC coach and BB will go on to take Schulas record.

And if he fails, many people here won't admit it was a failure.

He needs to make the playoffs at some point in his UNC career to be a success. Anything else is failure. They didn't pay him $50 million to go to the Fenway Bowl.

If he wants to shut up his haters nothing short of playoffs and even then you guys will still twist something.

If he gets close and has winning seasons each year it wouldn't be a complete failure but not going to do much for his legacy probably even hurts it a little. We'll have to see exactly how it plays out. If he also sends several successful players to the league who succeed there too could make him look good too.

Any worse than that and I'd probably have to switch to my burner account lol.

Seems like pretty respectable first season though. I don't expect much more than that year one and even that might be tough.
