I said it at the time that Dugger was a huge overpay. Nobody will take on that contract. Another reason why Wolf should be working the drive thru.
I wouldn’t trust my burger to him!

Maybe it's just me but this was super effed up. Dudes all over the NFL are losing their jobs right now, but Travis Kelce decides now is the perfect time to announce his engagement. What a douchebag.
His douchebag antics have been on display for some time.

So probably the fact that Andy was in fact Drafted DID play a role in this competition and because they were neck and neck he gets the advantage. Borregales better keep practicing and deliver on his opportunities because I’m sure Vrabs has Romo on speed dial…..I’m pulling Borregales of course

Glad to see Ponder make the cut. They need all the pass rush help they can get.

Agreed, but...why is it that every WR camp phenom is met with a tidal wave of skepticism and the name of Bam Childress is evoked from 20 YEARS AGO, while camp phenoms at other positions never get the same treatment? Like, OT Marcus Bryant was a wildly unpopular WTF pick in the 7th round, but as soon as he started looking good in camp everybody just accepted he was good.

This dude…

Tweet suggests “other suitors” but I think he has to clear waivers first. Wonder if Pats would claim him as CB6? I’d see that as better than keeping Mr Irrelevant as CB6.

They have to do it a couple hours before cutdowns? How about... yesterday... or tomorrow... or even earlier this morning.
The only thing that sort of makes sense is the fact it is an off day for the players (Tuesday) during what's essentially a bye for the players. So I do get it from that standpoint.

Time’s up. Pats gotta lay their cards now on the table

There's like a week of nothing after tomorrow.

Surprising

IMO - Bourne and Dugger are two guys that teams probably said "I like them, but why trade for guys that the Pats will just end up cutting shortly?" So, the Pats keep them instead which would force a trade for any party that really does want either of them.

Yeah I made that distinction in my post. The only guy I put on standard IR was Polk, who should be down for the year anyway. The others are the two guys going on direct-to-DTR IR, and then two guys who go on IR-DTR after a day the normal way.
I think you missed my point: anyone they would be awarded on the waiver wire tomorrow would have to be accommodated by tomorrow at 4 PM. Anyone placed on IR to accommodate them would not have been on the 53 for the required 24 hours, and therefore would be done for the season.

Surprising

I really thought he was going to be an IR-DTR guy. Guess he’s healthy enough now. A lot of WR on the initial 53, I guess they’ll be some of the targeted moves once claims are done.
