CUT: Gee Scott Jr, Javon Baker, Jeremiah Webb, Jack Conley, Cole Strange, Jahvaree Ritzie, Dell Pettus
IR: Ja'Lynn Polk
Cutdown day IR-DTR: Jahlani Tavai, Kobee Minor

After 24 hours, they'll send Kendrick Bourne and Terrell Jennings to regular IR-DTR to make room for waiver claims.

I feel like we can Cut both Wallace and Brown get em back on our PS. Robinson is still out there as is Siddy Sow Sow.

Does not follow. Robinson and Sow aren’t as good as Wallace and Brown. So those first two still being out there doesn’t mean the second two would be.

I think Wallace and Brown are slated to play necessary roles for us. I don’t see them released until we know we have a better replacement in hand. Unless Vrabes thinks Strange is that better replacement?

I am not a generally a supporters of fans who like to badmouth a draft, since they don’t know generally have info to as much info as the professionals do, but one year removed from the 2024 draft, it is likely that many people here would have done a better job than Wolf did.

At a minimum we likely have both Maye and McConkey.

Not sure about who exactly made the push for Polk, but Mayo's WR coach was Tyler Hughes, who had worked at UW in 2023.

Yeah I made that distinction in my post. The only guy I put on standard IR was Polk, who should be down for the year anyway. The others are the two guys going on direct-to-DTR IR, and then two guys who go on IR-DTR after a day the normal way.

Bourne can’t be PUP because he already practiced. Maybe IR DTR but he could still slip onto the 53 if Josh likes him enough from their past history.

I would not use the IR-DTR now I prefer using it in the regular season.

They have something like 8 DTR designations to use, can use 2 of those today to send players straight to IR DTAr without having to put them on the 53 first. Polk and Bourne?

Yup, as an offense Quality Control guy. His last stint as a Wr coach before us was in 2004…..High School coach!!! How the hell did Kraft ever trust the operation to Wolf and Mayo is beyond me.

Not counting FB TE3 and below has been very underwhelming but I went into camp expecting Dipre to better but quickly switched to Westover and that was before Lampe got hurt.

I suppose Jakob and waiver claim TE could be the way to go.
