That's a big one... one of the few guys who had a shot to sneak on and shake things up.

On a side note, while I don't want to be overly critical of this front office, there are 2 things they've failed to do well. One is really address the OL in FA (they got Moses but other guys they 'targeted; walked). The other is make trades for players. it sounds like they've been in on everything but accomplished nothing. The only trade they successfully made is their 3rd string QB which most fans here think they lost on.

Among the many good things this group has done, these are two things they seem to have issues with.

I certainly agree on the FA OL. I'll reserve judgement on the trades until the window for Parsons snaps shut

Was there ever any clarification on Ja'Lynn Polk's status?

First it was widely reported that he was placed on IR, then a semi-denial, with talk about finding the rats leaking information.

I don't recall it ever being officially reported.

We are all still waiting for news on Bourne and Chism too... Vrabel??

One thing to keep in mind is that the team may keep a couple guys who are hurt on the initial 53, then put them on IR tomorrow to make room for incoming waiver claims. Teams can only directly send 2 players max directly to IR-DTR without putting them on the initial 53 first. Potential IR candidates being Polk, Tavai, Bourne, Chism, T.Jennings, Minor. Maybe others.

Bourne shouldn't be he should be fully healthy by now: it wasn't an ACL.

I would not use the IR-DTR now I prefer using it in the regular season.

I believe this years injury was a rolled up ankle. A sprain or fracture can be weeks he's probably not healthy.

In that thinking, shouldn't Gonzo be fully healthy now? Not sure what rolled up on means but if its a high ankle sprain that is around 6-8 weeks
