Was there ever any clarification on Ja'Lynn Polk's status?

First it was widely reported that he was placed on IR, then a semi-denial, with talk about finding the rats leaking information.

I don't recall it ever being officially reported.

CJ is deserving of a roster spot IMO. For a team with a questionable OL you need all the blocking help you can get.

I hate decisions obviously based on draft position. Teams say it's based on merit, but push come to shove they tend to cover their asses by keeping their mistakes on the roster. It's ********.

Same, just never materialized into anything during camp.

He did what was asked of him which was to block. I just don't get it. The OL is still a work in progress at best. They need blockers.

Vrabel more or less confirmed it, but nothing has come across the transaction wire officially prior to today. Iton's appeared, but Polk's hasn't to this point. I'm assuming that would need to happen by this afternoon, so I'll see what it looks like when the league releases the transactions later on.
