The main reason the educational system is corrupt is its fanatical adherence to the blank slate theory of human intelligence. Total hogwash.

That’s some elite brain power being passed down. Gubmit should be paying people like this to have babies.

As someone who wanted to be an electrical engineering major and finding out I wasn’t smart enough, I am thoroughly impressed.
Gummit should stay away from eugenics. Last time it was tried the program ended when they lost WW2.

Private sector is trying to resurrect it though. I’m sure Musk would want to impregnate brood mares blessed with such intellects. It’s one of his riffs.

I didn’t even think about him being available for trade. What did they give up? May have been a good move.
Apparently the Patriots under Wolf do not make significant trades for players ever. Unless its trading away a qb with a rocket arm, tremendous physical attributes and who can run like the wind for next to nothing.

Vrabel loves Dobbs apparently. Howell would have been a great pickup. Eagles got him for next to nothing.
I hope the Patriots are not concerned about bringing in competition for Drake?

Last year's gotta be one of the worst Patriots drafts this millennium, right?

Drake was the pick at 3 but everytime I see a Ladd Mckonky article I get teary eyed.

Polk-bust of the highest order. Ras-ir dowling and Jordan Richards level bust.

Wallace, Robinson, and baker...??? Could easily be cut especially if either wr or ol rooms weren't bottom 1/3 in league.

Dials injured and bell and Milton are gone.

People say to wait 3 years to judge a draft but almost the entire class is already gone!!!

This is related to cutdowns and waivers how? LOL

Wallace might be OK at OG - we will have to see. It is a new position for Wallace so we should give him a year. I think the rest are a bust of epic proportions. Remember when Wolf told us his draft picks had to be developed by the coaching staff?

If Maye becomes elite it’s still a good draft. A 100 first pick grade and about a 3 on the rest.

But, but, but Wolfe hadn't implemented his draft philosophy yet!!!

That's the funniest cop out I've heard from a senior nfl exec in awhile. Stretch has been sizing up Wolfes office the minute he joined the pats.

And Wallace is a good point. They moved sides on him I believe and got injured last year

Stretch is an Ernie Adams-type, he’s not the one sizing up Wolf’s office. That’s Ryan Cowden, he was assistant GM in Tennessee who became interim after Robinson was fired, and Vrabel liked and recommended to the owner that she hire as the permanent guy. She didn’t, he left, soon Vrabel was canned, and now both are here.

Fire Eliot Wolf. Replace him with Vrabel's guy.

RYAN COWDEN.

Proven track record. Made a monumental difference in the draft.

Last year Wolf picked two guys in the OL who never bothered to do the bench press test. Even at their pro day. Because they're lazy in the weight room and relatively weak.

But good arm length and hand size. Wallace and Laydown Robinson.

Never succeeded in bringing in a veteran LT to help the rookie. You best believe VLowe is making the 53.

And just released Jake Andrews, the heir apparent to David Andrews at center, for no reason whatsoever.

Other than he had acquired Garrett Bradbury. The Vikings didn't want him anymore.

Why? It turns out his pass blocking is bad.

So as long as we run the ball, the center position is fine with Bradbury, a plus athlete.

Dual-threats also have to know how to preserve themselves for the long haul. Don't bust out routine runs. Always slide, unless there's no other option. Head out of bounds, unless there's no other option. Only run when the lane is wide open. Make sure you know when to just dump the ball off rather than take unnecessary hits. The NFL season is tough on the body. If you are making yourself a target 100 percent of your snaps, you are not going to make it to the Super Bowl.

Last year was the first time a primary run QB won a Super Bowl. But they did it by treating the QB like a RB and spelling him with heavy doses of Saquan.

I love that this has been a focus of Vrabel, he’s driving home to Maye the importance of preserving his health for the sake of the team. Overall I think Vrabel and MacDaniels are focusing on the priorities first with Maye, protect himself, protect the ball, then make the plays that are there to be made. I don’t expect him to become an All Pro this season, but I think they are going to turn him into one over the next couple of seasons.

Bradyn Swinson I have to admit has been disappointing. He hasn't shown much. Yet.

Wolf is responsible for that

what is Cowden's proven track record?
he was interim GM for portion of 1 season, and the Titans were not good.
they passed him over after the season and he went to the Giants
he has known interviews with KC, the Giants, Steelers, Panthers, Commanders to be their GM, and was passed each time.

Hell, from reports, there were days where Matt Cassel looked better in practice than Brady did.
Thank you for adding that CT, some seem to forget there was a version of Brady that was mortal. For example look at the type of defense we have now and scheme. Pressure from the interior Brady said himself gave him the most trouble. Who's the head coach that played with Brady Who knows this intimately.. and the type of defense we are currently playing..

He was the assistant GM in NY, he was the voice behind trying to get us to trade the Drake pick last year... he knew something about Drake long before we did.. I have more faith that with Cowden a year from now we would still have our 2025 draft picks still on the roster..
