The Bill megathread (HC at UNC, girlfriend, etc.)

Genius, take a look at his post Brady colossal disaster. Of course you choose to ignore that portion
Wrong!!! Bill told Kraft he did not believe Brady would be successful past 42. That is on your cradle robbing horny hero
Look at the greatest coaches in pro football history at the start and end of their dynasty when they had to start over from scratch.

Now tell us how Bill is different from the greatest ever… he’s not.

Comparing a single player to a guy who builds an entire program is just another example of fanboys being clueless.

There is no single man who built every team Brady won a Super Bowl with.
But there is one Man who coached him so well that he was able to go on and win one without him.

You know Montana won one without Walsh. Aikman won one without Jimmy Johnson. We aren't talking about something unique to Brady. All three would never pretend that they would accomplish that without the coaching they got from Bill, Walsh, or Jimmy.

1 TD, 1 INT in the entire 3 game playoff… slightly better than average completion percentage and average yards per attempt. Average.
<sigh> Here we go again....

Game 1: Extraordinary performance. 312 yards passing and 1 rushing TD is one of the worst snowstorms the Patriots have ever played in. He led an incredible game-tying drive and followed it up with an incredible game-winning drive in OT.

Game 2: He got injured. I mean, it happens. When you miss almost 3/4th of a game, you aren't going to have good stats

Game 3: The gameplan was simply not a passing attack, and the Patriots led for much of the game so they didn't need to pass. He was the MVP and led the team on one of the greatest game winning drives in NFL history. Anyone who calls that "average" is a moron.

Bill has 6 as a head coach, even more with his coordinator rings… and was long considered the most brilliant defensive mind in football by non Patriots fans.

HAHAHA Bill was considered the most brilliant defensive mind lol? Yeah the coordinator for the Giants was considered a better defensive mind than the Bud Grant, Buddy Ryan who coached the greatest defense ever. LOL drink up Wozzy you are getting yourself woozy.

You've cracked the code get the greatest coach of all time talent and you win a lot of Superbowls. Step 2 let's find some talent and a great coach. And that's where you also need a great GM......hmmm Bill was the greatest GM of all time too.
Funny how the GOAT coach couldn't make the playoffs with 08 team which was loaded to the gills lol.

Some people here are embarrassingly ignorant to how football works,
It is good that you realize how embarrassingly ignorant you are.

The forum is laughing at you. Even the Belichick supporters don't support you because they know how stupid your statements are.

I repeat you guys are as petty as Jerry Jones was with Jimmy Johnson. Congratulations if that makes you feel good about yourself.

The NFL literally changed the rules how playoff teams are chosen because losing teams were making the playoffs. You’re being disingenuous again.
Missing the playoffs =/= “winning anything” regardless of any excuses
It took the Browns twenty years to make the playoffs again, the Giants and Pats played in multiple Super Bowls because of Bill’s defense… but he suck’s at his job.

So weird… I remember that Browns franchise winning a Super Bowl almost right away after they were relocated to Baltimore.

Yea Bill’s defense was so awesome in the 2011 SB they let the worst rushing offense in the league run all over them in the Super Bowl. And nobody says Bill sucked at his job although he certainly did after Brady left. Brady was the reason he won so much and he admitted it…

The bigger question is how Phil Simms got hurt, the Giants plugged Jeff Hostetler in and won it all. Years later Carson Wentz was front runner for the MVP award, he gets hurt, they plug Nick Foles in there and win it all. Joe Gibbs won three separate Super Bowls with three journeyman QB’s… but it’s all because of one player?

Sounds legit…
Here's the difference you're too stupid to realize:

The Giants were 11-2 when Simms got injured. They finished 5-1 under Hostetler. IOW, Hostetler didn't turn the team around.

The Eagles were 12-2 when Wentz got injured. They finished 4-1 under Foles. IOW, Foles didn't turn the team around.

The Patriots were 5-13 before Brady, and 14-3 with Brady. That team - and this entire franchise - did a complete 180 the day Tom Brady took over. Period, end of discussion.

Did the Cowboys win a Super Bowl without Johnson?

This what you guys sound like. You guys share some bad traits in common with Jerry Jones.
Barry Switzer won a Super Bowl with that team, so Jerry Jones just might have been right.

And of course that means Jimmy Johnson should be erased from NFL history right. Thanks for making my point that you're as petty and stubborn as Jerry Jones though.

Notice how Wozzy constantly pretends to know the game but he gets the details wrong and just searches for whatever he can to reaffirm his stance even if the details are problematic to it

This is your problem. You make logical leaps from "the Cowboys can win without Johnson because the talent mattered more" to "we are erasing Johnson from history and ignoring some of the things he did contribute".

Brady was a part time starter in college.
Tom Brady was Michigan's #1 QB in both 1998 and 1999. He threw 618 passes those 2 years. (By comparison, the next closest QB on the team, Drew Henson, threw 134 passes, mostly in mop up duty).

Don't you ever get tired of being wrong?

Look at the entire season along with the playoffs… you suggesting Tom arrived like gangbusters and set the offensive world on fire is fanboy revisionism.
