The Bears seem to have done a good job in free agency and the draft. Hopefully their coach is all that he’s hyped up to be.

The problem for them, unfortunately, is their QB. Of course, if Johnson is as good as his hype, we might see some improvement out of Williams, the way McVay (and then Johnson) helped turn Goff around.

Ugh, this is the fear of playing your starters in the last preseason game. And of course it’s the Browns.

I feel bad for the Browns fans; if any franchise should have been punished by the football gods, it’s the Ravens. The new Browns have done nothing but disappoint their fans from the start, and generally starting from the top with 2 incompetent ownership groups. For Browns fans sake, I hope Halsam sells the team soon and they get someone competent in there.

Not sure if anyone saw, but Kaleb McGary of the Falcons went down with a knee injury last night. Very likely headed to IR. '

Running between the tackles against thd Jets with DTs Quinnen Williams and newcomer Harrison Phillips sounds difficult. Very difficult.

Especially if Ben Brown is starting anywhere.

Ole friend Byron Cowart had been a leading candidate to play alongside Big Q Stud Williams.

Everything is in place for the Jets. Except probably QB.

So close yet so far.

The Saints Kellen Moore, former OC of the Eagles, has a big decision to make. Pick his QB1.

The fifth-rounder he inherited in 6'1" Spencer Rattler who struggled mightily last season, albeit with a catastrophic number of injuries, or the 6'5" guy from pick 40 whom he drafted and who is already 25? Tyler Shough entered college at the same time as Trevor Lawrence.

Who do you think it's going to be? Neither has distinguished himself this preseason.

I don’t think Williams has the temperament to lead an NFL team. His maturity level reminds me of Ryan Leaf.

Is Shedeur in jeopardy? Not because of this play where his OL will be back at their jobs selling insurance by Wednesday but the fact his coach had him out there with them at all?

Polk for Sanders

Tyler Shough, the middling 25 year old with no upside.

Rattler's done enough to stand on the sidelines for the next 10 years as a backup emeritus, but holy **** he sucks. He sucked in college, he's sucked in the pros, a true case of 'all hype, no substance'. This guy was supposed to be ""THE FUTURE"" at Oklahoma, and he washed out quickly, sucked at South Carolina, and has, predictably, sucked in the pros. Sick comeback against Amazon Drivers though.
