SF is already thin at WR, and Robinson just got a three game suspension for substance use.

Demarcus Robinson Suspended three games - Fantasy Football News

Seems to have some possible implications for Patriots.

Might make Baker less likely to clear waivers and end up on PS.

Might be a trade partner for Polk. Or even Bourne. Assuming they’re able to pass the physical.

Thoughts?

Bourne for a 7th makes everyone happy. I don't think Baker would fit well in the West Coast offense.

Well definitely not Polk now

Because of the injury rehab. But the rules were changed several years ago so players on IR can be traded.
No one would ever trade for him. He’s hurt, but more importantly…..He’s Terrible!!!!

I'm not sure what the Pats are waiting for. I'd call SF to take Bourne back.

Bourne for a sixth rounder.

Get off the ledge Toof: I want to see Bourne play alone side Diggs. I think we're going to be pleasantly surprised: he hasn't Played with a WR of Diggs caliber for quote a while. Bourne is better WR than barefoot Mack Hollins outright.

Why do u keep beating the Bourne drum? Bourne for a 6th sounds right, maybe a bit high actually. His time is done here.

Not so fast I would like to see it play out. Hollins is Not a better WR.

This is magical thinking. Bourne has nearly zero trade value.

Only cut candidates that have any shot of fetching trade value are Jennings and maybe Strange.

Trade Bourne… he has a solid reputation and would garner a late round pick.

He is done. Hasn't practiced much with us . Mack hollins has been pretty good for us in camp. With maye accuracy issues , mack hollins height would be a huge asset in red zone.

Bourne is done here.his contract is too expensive for a wr 4 or 5.

While this is allowed, I don't see a team trading for an injured player.

Well trades are contingent on a physical. Team may be willing to give a 7th for a guy who is nearing a return.

That's certainly possible but risking $9.75M on a player who hasn't passed a physical is a risk that I wouldn't expect a team to take.
