Chiefs trade Sky Moore to Niners.

Ian is going to need a lot more server space if we are going to start a new thread on every player that another team signs or trades for, lamenting that the Patriots should have signed/traded for said player.

They went ten years without winning it all despite having Brady the entire time and Gronk for a lot of it… try again.
Funny what happens when the GM stopped having good drafts.

Another fekkin stupid WR4 thread.
I didn't start it Steve.

Anyone who has watched 5 minutes of Skyy Moore play football wouldn't be lamenting us not making this trade.

For me that was the problem I had with Thornton while he was here. There was only one occasion where I ever thought he looked "fast" and that was on a run. He never looked "sudden" or quick, say like Williams or Henderson.
Remember that end around in that game Zappe Started?? That's so 2023.

Vrabel released Jake Andrews.

Yup, that was the play I was thinking about. I never saw another that made be think, "boy that kid is fast", like just blowing by a defender on a route.

I guess he just "found" his other gear in KC, but nothing he did here gave any clue to him being capable of anything more than what we saw for 3 years.

Just a good lesson in the reality of players growing even a few years AFTER coming into the league. They are all capable of growing and getting better. Jaylin Polk hasn't EARNED a spot on this roster, but that doesn't mean that a couple of years down the road he could become a capable WR in this league, like we thought he could be when we drafted him.

Interesting that KC gave up on THIER 2023 2nd round pick for less than a 6th.

I thought Moore would be something but even Kermit couldn't unlock him.

What does that have to do with bad drafts for the last decade Bill was here?
Decade? They played in four Super Bowls over five years. Brady left for a year while they reset the cap and Jonathan took over for his father who was clearly losing it, Jonathan took personnel away from Bill and gave it to Wolf in 2021. We had the worst draft in a century last year after Maye was gifted to us… the problem is clear.

The decade was in between 2005-2013 when Tom was one of the highest paid players in the NFL and in his prime… you’re clearly not bright.

The last time the Chiefs won a ring, the year before last, their offense was 10th in scoring and defense was 3rd in preventing points… the defense was better than the offense.

But they only win because of Mahomes… smooth brains abound.

You brought up Gronk. Gronk was drafted in 2010 so your "they went 10 years without winning it all...and they had Gronk for a lot of it" is not a thing.

Those pesky little things called facts get you all triggered don't they.

At least their coach has the sense to not push Mahomes out the door... unlike your hoodied hero who oddly enough ended his NFL career with a .426 coaching record since he pushed Brady out the door.

Once again, Super Bowl and drafting are two different things. We drafted poorly while winning super bowls.

KC has had bad luck drafting WRs for some time now.

Worthy might work out, but Rice turned Thug year 1. Then you have Mecole Hardman who was supposed to be Tykek Hills replacement. Jehu Chissom, Cornell Powell.

Interested to see how Jalen Royals pan out he's very similar to Kyle Williams. But I think Williams is more Pro Ready.
