Let's not get carried away the BB regime couldn't coach em up either. They all Sucked when they were Here!!
That’s my point. The WRs looked decent in 2021 under McDaniels’ crew (Meyers and Bourne mainly - they even got a lot of production out of Damiere Byrd in 2020…) but after he left, WR coaching has been seemingly atrocious despite running easier schemes. Only guy I can think of who developed between 2022 and 2024 is Pop Douglas, and I don’t know if he “developed” so much as he just kept doing what he did in college which has been productive. Boutte took a step last year but he said more than once than he had to basically force the coaches to use him, which seems more like he developed himself to me.

As far as OL, I can’t think of anyone developed successfully in that span, and some guys like Onwenu seemingly regressed.

Speaking of developing themselves it seems like both Douglas and Boutte did that. It's a shame they had to endure that $h!t show last year. I am expecting Big things from Pop Douglas: K Boutte maybe much better than regarded...I think his ceiling is Diggs lite.

If Tyquan Thornton becomes a contributor in KC that’s yet another brutal indictment on the Patriots coaching staffs. For the love of god let Vrabel turn it around.

If Tyquan fails, it's an indictment of the FO. If he succeeds, it's an indictment of the coaching staff. Meh.

Give it a rest. He had years to show something. Time to move on.

Actually may somewhat vindicate the front office - more of an indictment on coaching
That’s what I was saying Wolf knew the Disaster Mayos staff was, and let Mayo or he made the decision to release Thornton.

I would love to know who was the one who made that move.
Thornton was a my draft binkie, him balling out we’ll tell me what I already know I can scout lol.

But all that being said every post was saying he was getting open with ease in camp which I get that’s camp but now he’s earned the respect of Reid and Mahommes.

We traded up for dude remember this is a guy who modeled his game after Adam’s and Hill if he hits in KC if I’m Kraft I’m having a serious conversation with Wolf.

He was the home run hit we haven’t had at WR that was suppose to keep defenses honest.

Right now that’s Kyle Williams, hindsight being 2020 who here wouldn’t have kept Thornton injuries and all over Slow Poke and Javon you can walk again Get out of your wheelchair Baker.

Guess we will see.

Lmao Jets forum?
I’ve been a Pats fan since 93, I’ve never made one post on a Jets forum.
Who D F you think I am and you are that you would say some crap like that to a hall of fame Poster get your posts up and your head out your ass bro.
They grow up and try acting like a fan and not a clown. Only an idiot laments getting rid of Thornton. Who do I think you are? Bt your posts, a clown and idiot. And hey, bro, I am not a bro, bro. LMAO.

It's a little disappointing to see 2 teams choosing to trade for other fringe WRs when we have a bunch. They're either not liking or not being offered our guys.

Are you harping over Boney Thornton who can barely make a catch in a actual game?? You can press Slender man and take him right out of the play. Newsflash Thornton is not a good WR. Reid and Kermit will soon find out.

A 7th round pick going back to the Chiefs.

And Tyquan Thornton is running with the 1s.
I’m really pissed off Wolf didn’t give Thornton a chance with a real Staff.
We essentially chose Polk and Baker over him who make Nkeal Harry look like AJ Brown in comparison.
Dunno about that lol.

From what I'm hearing the Chiefs see him more as a potential special teamer instead of a receiver. If he makes the team at all which isn't a guarantee. Doubtful he's high on their WR depth chart.

He had his shot here and it didn't work out.

Another fekkin stupid WR4 thread.

I was fully on the you can’t teach speed Thornton get stretch the Field we need to develop him camp.

For me that was the problem I had with Thornton while he was here. There was only one occasion where I ever thought he looked "fast" and that was on a run. He never looked "sudden" or quick, say like Williams or Henderson.

The Chiefs seem like late dynasty Patriots. Winning every year because of a super star quarterback and TE in spite of terrible personnel management.

Give spagnuolo credit. Does phenomenally on defense with less.

The last few years the Chiefs have really been more of a defensive team than an offensive one. They had that draft a few years ago where they got McDuffie (from the pick we traded out of) and George Karlaftis who I think Spagnuolo has really found a way to get the most out of them. Other than that he has been putting together solid defenses with no namer type players as Chris Jones starts to get up there in age.

They went ten years without winning it all despite having Brady the entire time and Gronk for a lot of it… try again.

What does that have to do with bad drafts for the last decade Bill was here?
