Bryant has been a bigger story then Chism...in Missouri.

I agree...I hope Lowe gets the 4th T spot over Jacobs.
Has Lowe gotten any reps with the 1s? It seems like he fell behind with his injury and hasn't been able to catch up.

Chism has nicknames, media people reporting he's a possible candidate for president, and has been THE surprise of camp. You're starting to sound like Bill now, trying to control the narrative that this kid isn't the story. He is.

That's not taking away from Bryant. He's had a good camp and you're correct, it's a position of need, and most certainly will be on the 53 man roster. But your denying Chism isn't the story is an attempt at spin. I don't think you have enough twitter followers to sway the narrative. Better stick to telling us how great Spencer Rattler is going to be.
Probably a little unfair

Chism - A WR in a position of drought on a team whose fans love UDFA and short shifty white guys who play slot.
Bryant - A RT back up with potential for more on a team whose fans think if every draftee from the 4th - 7th rounds aren't starters the draft is a failure.

Playing backups doesn't count. But when facing starters in one-on/one's in practice? Maybe that's a tell.
You admit to knowing nothing about football if you believe for even a second that some drill is more telling as to projecting a player’s potential than a competitive game rep even against even a slightly inferior opponent.

i get that Campbell is not your prototype LT speciman like Jonathan Ogden. Heck, I have a picture of Campbell taken with my 6’6” 15 year old nephew at Gillette on the day Campbell was introduced to the media. My nephew looks more like the 4th overall pick and Campbell looks like a pear dressed in a suit.

Let it go my man and open your mind a little. Time will tell. It will be about how well Campbell and offense plays rather than how he looks or measures.

Sort of not a fair question...... Campbell has received %99 of first team LT reps.

I have zero feel for how the new regime feels about Lowe but I would look at more things than first team LT reps before just writing him off.

It's been Moses and Campbell in practice with the ones. He's been on both sides with the two's and threes.

I wonder IF Sean McVay still have any interest in Cole Strange?? He did on Draft day many moons ago.

Was he over at RT while Bryant was at LT? It's just hard to think they like him when he really hasn't seemed to get ahead of Jacobs on the right.

Oh totally. It's trying to read tea leaves. It just doesn't seem like he's getting the same opportunities as Bryant, which makes sense, but also hasn't supplanted Jacobs at backup RT.

Per Vrabel today...he wants Lowe to be able to play both sides and they have been doing that. I don't know how often.

I can't figure out the plan at IOL. Wilson has shown to be the best LG and much better than Brown. Brown is a decent C, probably better than Bradbury. I'd maybe keep it as Campbell - Wilson - Brown - Owenhu - Moses. But if someone who knows line play better than me has a better take on why Brown and Wilson are better switching spots, I'll believe you.

So perhaps the Wilson/Brown stuff is much ado about nothing? It didn't just feel like injury management, but maybe it was...

I hate to say it, but it's time to get real about this offense & Maye's apparent weakness in it.
It has been a regular report out of camp that Maye does not throw to WR's much. His completions today are only TE & RB. Short middle, or dump off's. That's even more concerning since Gonzo hasn't been practicing, nor Davis for most of camp.
Either that's because the OL is collapsing too quick, or Maye isn't reading stuff quick enough to see WR's on time. Both are super discouraging. And Maye's little time in the games has proven that out. Dan O did a great film review of Maye not seeing and/or not pulling the trigger on wide open receivers - instead holding it, and scrambling. Not good.
I agree, but I don't mind short passes as long as they are completed.

Under McDaniels Tom's average distance per pass attempt was 7.4 yards. The short game was a focal point within Josh's play calling during the Brady years and I assume it will be the same with Maye for a ton of different reasons.

Maye is trending backwards.
1 - 6th grade I received As in English (West Coast). 7th grade I started German(EP). Week 1 learning my German class name and how to say "Badezimmer" and "Kugelscreiber" went fine. Week 2-N was a bit F'd up learning sentence structure, past tense, how Germans make up words (EP, rotating line, new receivers, JM tweaking his system for the players he has.)

Every year since 2000 (maybe 2007 exception) they've started out slow. Much higher level players, coaches, and structure and it'll take some time to jell this year. Once again in NE the real season doesn't start until October.

Not sure what the schedule is for this week other than it being a short week...

Preseason Game 3 vs the Giants on Thursday 8/21 on Prime ...

Last year Prime simulcasted the Thursday games on twitch tv... I don't have prime, so I am hoping they are going to do the same this season...

The twitch stream is a legal, NFL partner broadcast ... @Ian if there is an issue with promoting this broadcast, please edit this post...
This week...should realistically be all about the LV raiders preparation (IMO)Sure, the coaching staff is still elevating the players for the 53.. but we know Vrabel knows.. who the guys will be. Thursday as we know means nothing except for the 3rd stringers.

To be fair in Josh's offense, the TE and RBs are probably one of the top options for the QB based on how the defense is lined up. Brady spammed the crap out of RBs out of the backfield and TEs in the middle of the field.
