Double A is probably CB4 right now. James is giving him a run but I think he's still in the lead. After that take your pick I'm not really sure about Battle or Minor or whoever else. I think if it got that far might have to lean on the safeties. Bad start with some of the injuries but I think we just have to have faith that the top 5 seem like a pretty good group.

Gotta say this is kind of an unbelievable quote from Baker considering he has had somewhat of an attitude at times last year. Vrabel’s coaching style paying dividends.

In two years Baker will be the next overnight sensation.

I am not sure he would have gotten the contract if he weren’t a high pick. He got paid on projection and lack of options. We finally have a few safeties who can cover.

He is an okay pick . Not a game changer . We overpaid for him . He was slightly better than deatrich wise on a impact perspective . That's it. We tend to overrate our players .

Clearly this is the only caliber of specimen that can reasonably play LT in the NFL. Anything less is camp fodder.

I hate to keep harping on the passing game as that is only one part of why you win. run defense, pass defense, special teams, running game... ect...

But at this point this team looks like it will be as good as the passing game allows it to be. They seem ready to be a very good run team. Their D will be able to get some pressure. Once they have their top 2 CBs back and out there you'd think they'd have a good pass D, particularly with the depth they've shown. It's not all all pros but it all seems pretty solid.

Yes this passing attack has honestly been disappointing. I know Diggs is still getting back into it but we start in less than a month and right now is he really doing that much better than Pop or Hollins or Boutte? I don't think so. He seems to be the #1 only by reputation to this point. I feel like i've heard more positive things about Boutte and Pop to this point in camp.

You keep hearing about multiple drops all around every day by everyone.

You keep hearing about Drake taking 'sacks' and missing throws.

It is not good enough. I've said before and i will say again. If this team doesn't make the playoffs this year is a failure IMO. Drake and Co to go where we want them to need playoff experience. IF they don't get it this year... that means next year is pretty much destined to be a just another set up year. And now Drake's running contracct is close to running out.

They can not afford to drop games early which are winnable. They are not good enough to recover from it and make the playoffs.

The passing game is largely a matter of timing… which currently is a work in progress. I’m not too concerned about it, many of misses in the second unit were terrible throws by Dobbs… guys were open.

Keep working, keep grinding… chemistry and execution will improve. For now they can block and run the ball… but it all starts with blocking.

I didn't think he would be this effective. Probably some combination of coaching and change of scenery.

Not having to two gap seems to have given him a new lease of life.

Baker made a tackle on special teams, that and his improved play at WR might earn him a spot.
