Game Day Thread 2025 OFFICIAL GAME THREAD: Preseason Game 1 - NE vs WAS

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

What is the deal with people thinking you only need 3 RBs? That position gets banged up all the time.

Polk with an INT. Jordan Polk that is.

Lol. Got beat, gave up the first down. And got an int for it.

HOLY F&*^ Polk with and interception.

**Jordan Polk

2 tipped passes at the line so far from this clipboard holder.

Polk with a catch!!!!

... wait they tell me is a CB, never mind

We Need a capable Back up QB.

You can find RBs sleeping under bridges in the FA though

The great Jonas Gray says hi

Not even close. Our grandparents couldn't begin to understand the machine intelligence that has rolled out since the 1980s and the exponential change in the last 10 years. The next 15 years will be factorial growth in machine and computing intelligence and decrease in human involvement in change and a measurement that we don't have a name for yet after that. For the first time we're going to have the non-humans we've created improve productivity beyond what were capable of.
Yeah that assembly line didn’t do ****

What a pass.

Your great grandfather said that about the Industrial Revolution.
No. He didn't. That's absurd. I know because I spoke with him, which most people today can't say because they don't have a father let alone a great grandfather. The industrial rev gave millions of "people" jobs. But that's a discussion for another forum or venue. Unfortunately those forums and venues no longer exist.

Chism, TD.

Who knew when we drafted the worst WR in the league last year in the second round, he wouldn’t even be our best Polk.

IF we ever lose Maye: we'll be in the running for Arch Manning.
