Game Day Thread 2025 OFFICIAL GAME THREAD: Preseason Game 1 - NE vs WAS

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

I was on the record when they traded him stating I thought they should’ve kept him to see how he developed under Josh but since the trade he has gone from a halfway decent college QB to a great QB.
I think most wanted to keep him, I certainly did. But by all accounts he didn't want to be here and it was a problem.

Great Qb. Jesus.

Yeah Dobbs was atrocious. If Maye goes down 1st quarter week one for the year, they get the 1st overall next year he's that bad.
The QB from Notre Dame Riley Leonard was on the board late in the draft. Was hoping Pats took a chance on him.

Scary situation in Detroit - Lions CB Maurice Norris took a hit to the head and apparently started seizing. Left the field by ambulance and it sounds like they may end that one early.

Great,, another human job replaced by the machine. "Virtual Measurement".

This has been a painful opening drive pacing wise. 2 challenges a virtual measurement. And a hurry up drive where they were carving us up ends in a td anyway

My question is why'd it take so long? Shouldn't it be super fast? A regular measurement might have saved time

50 years from now we'll have 50% involuntary unemployment due to AI and industrial robots. Going to need to start figuring how to have people live life.
Your great grandfather said that about the Industrial Revolution.

Jordon Bunny Hudson > Dobbs

Lions game ended early. Wishing Norris the best...looked scary, for sure.

This was apparently the play.

  • Wow!

Did I just hear that correctly? I thought the announcer just said the Patriots were averaging 81 yards per return tonight. WTF?

Ummm was that a williams drop or a bad pass? Looked catchable.

I’m putting that one on KW. Separation has been there but that’s only half the battle. Gotta make the catchable catches.

We all will become content moderators or telemarketing sellers

The future is grandiose

I dunno Williams was expecting on the sideline and Jobber QB3 put it out close to the hash.

Yet another pass to an RB. At least he's putting it on guys though.

Not even close. Our grandparents couldn't begin to understand the machine intelligence that has rolled out since the 1980s and the exponential change in the last 10 years. The next 15 years will be factorial growth in machine and computing intelligence and decrease in human involvement in change and a measurement that we don't have a name for yet after that. For the first time we're going to have the non-humans we've created improve productivity beyond what were capable of.
