Opening this up ahead of the ceremony. @Zuma, this is good stuff and needed its own thread

Huge Goat

UPCOMING LIVE BROADCASTS | FRIDAY (8/8): 6 PM, Tom Brady Statue Unveiling; 6:20 PM, Patriots Pregame Show; After Game, Postgame Show & Press Conferences

This is most certainly going to be an unpopular opinion, but I'm a little sick of the Brady stuff. He is the GOAT, I luv everything he did for us, but he's gone, those days are over. My sister always use to say I was the Belichick of fans, because I was ruthless about player movement, and it was always about the current team. So I appreciate Brady, loved cheering for him for 20 years, but I've moved on. He most certainly deserves all his accolades and a statue, but I hope after this we can maybe put him on the back burner.

Kind of an odd post to make in the Brady Statue Ceremony thread.

Not odd at all. After the Statue ceremony I hope we can hold off on the Brady talk.

What channel is the game on tonight

I will never stop talking about Tom Brady and about how lucky we were to not only have the greatest NFL quarterback ever, but to have him for twenty years. We were so dominant for so long, getting to the superbowl 9 times in those 20 years, just to name one of several dozens of accomplishments that will stand for a very long time.

In a thread about celebrating Brady and his much deserved statue, to post a “I’m sick of Brady” comment is kind of odd/in bad taste. As others posted, not really the time or place. But you do you.

Hey...new guy... The greatest football player in league history played in Foxboro for 20 years. Not San Fran, Indy, Denver or freakin' NYC. Here. I don't care if the Krafts want to fellate him at mid field from now to the rest of eternity.

I will talk about Brady, Bill and many other former Pats as long as I’m alive, just like I still love talking and hearing about Larry Bird and the rest of the C’s in the 80’s or Bobby Orr and Phil Esposito.
