Morgan Moses & Garrett Bradbury leave practice Tuesday (Mod Edit/Merge)...

He never took a single snap during the regular season with any NFL team in 2023.
Thanks for the clarity. He was in the Broncos training camp, on their practice squad, and in the Broncos 2023/2024 off-season.

I don’t understand RT. The Patriots rolling the dice with Moses and the execrable Demontrey Jacobs? ( It’s obvious that Caeden Wallace to LG means he’s an OT bust.) Must be scheming to bring in another body. Trade Ja’Lynn Polk to the Jets for Carter Warren? Something. Anything.

Yeah I thought for sure that Wallace would compete with Jacobs for the backup RT job behind Moses; instead he’s now being lumped-in with what seems like a half-dozen other candidates for the starting LG spot, which he doesn’t have a hope in hell of ever, Ever winning…

I remember Belichick proudly saying he had five left tackles starting on his line during his last Super Bowl run. I think he learned his lesson from that 2006 debacle. I hope Vrable doesn't have to relearn this lesson. We don't need five probowlers, just five above-average pass blockers to get us to glory.

Perhaps Wallace is being given a chance to make the team as a backup at both LG and RT. Cross-training is a good idea if he is to be a Game Day backup. If that's true, we should see him playing some with the 2's at RT this coming week. If not, I don't see him making the 53.

Unless there is a major change, Jacobs seems to be a lock to make the 53.

I understand the need for linemen to cross-train at other positions; that training however should be reserved for those who have already made the team. Those that are competing for the 2nd/3rd-string roles should first be tried at their natural positions to see if they're any good there before they're told to go to another position where they're going to be Much Worse at playing.

Wallace at LG is a Complete Waste of Everyone's time.

Bottom line is you can’t give your starters all the reps… you don’t want to burn them out. There are 90 guys in camp for a reason.

And yes, you need to cross train people because the regular season never goes as planned and your 53 man roster has to have the most versatility possible. Game day active rosters are smaller than that.

Everyone's journey to a roster spot can be a little different. If I remember correctly Stephen Neal started out on the DL. Glad we tried OL before giving up on that project.

Im probably higher on our overall depth than most here but Ill be pretty worried if demontrey Jacobs is 2nd on the rt depth chart come September.

If the New boss (same as the Old boss) had truly fixed the OT positions, then dudes like Jacobs, VD Low, Wallace, Bryant et al would be competing for Practice Squad spots and Most Certainly NOT backup/2nd-string spots.

He was probably the one performer on the line that felt irredeemably bad last year. Brian and Lowe at least showed some signs of potential competence.
