The Pack doesn't even fog a mirror on the hate scale at my house.
I’m more upset with Parcells for SB 31 than the Pack. In fact, the Packers were quite classy in victory.

I’m more upset with the Packers for blowing the 2007 NFC Championship Game. There’s no doubt the Patriots beat them in that Super Bowl…… ugh.

Regardless of your feelings on Dugger****, you have to be happy that there is competition for his spot. If you like him, it means we could have someone who is even better. If you don't like him, you're happy he is getting challenged and could be upended.

Give me a Safety who covers like a CB Ed Reed Style.

Is Terrell Williams on the field?

Yep in the box or just off the LoS. Similar to how they deployed Chung.

It'll be interesting to see how frequently they plan line up Duggar and Peppers in that way as that may have an impact on how many LBs they keep.

According to Vrabes, they moved Mapu to LB full time and with LB being kinda crowded that might make it hard for him to make the team.
Speaking of Mapu...I'm concerned that moving him all over the place with different responsibilities and injuries have really hampered his potential. I'm not sure he is ever going to play as well some of us hoped for at LB...or even SS for that matter.

He'll probably need to win his role on this team via special teams. And he probably has a decent chance with that.

Take a lap, Weathers.

The one thing we were missing over the years was a linebacker who could cover. Belichick did not like 220 pound LBs. But we saw Mack Wilson have some success there and finally we had a LB who could cover.

If Vrabel has a different mindset when it comes to light LBs, I think that will help the team.

Belichick had Roman Phifer who kind of tricked him into believing a 245 LB could cover.

I have to wonder if Dugger has a trade market. His $9M guaranteed salary this year might be hard to move. I could see a situation where the team re-does his deal as part of a trade - converts half of that into a signing bonus that they pay out, then trade him. The new team would only owe him ~$4.5M guaranteed this year, and the Pats would still free up around $9M in cap space this year, and around $8M cap space the next couple years. Much better than simply cutting him this year and eating that $9M guaranteed salary. The trading team would inherit him with 3 years left on his deal, two of which have no guaranteed cash, with a fairly cheap (but guaranteed) salary this year.

I don't know. I could have slapped Favre after that first play. The ****er took his helmet off and ran off the field

I would push to sign Simmons while we still can.
Is Mapu doing anything in camp?

Agree. Is that the one Favre threw one of his abominable interceptions when the game was already in the bag and pulled defeat from the jaws of victory. He had two games like that, I think New Orleans and the Giants. Both incomprehensible.

Here we go again... day 11

I'd still caution on releasing rham.. even in a reduced role he still has value here as a tough yards, hard nosed back.. Gibson is the name that keeps being mentioned as a cut or trade possibility. However becuase Henderson is a rookie I'd still take all 3 to at least start the season being Henderson, rham and Gibson.

I have come to prefer Gibson over Stephenson

Is today closed door practice ?
