The news out of the Jets place in NJ is second-year Olu Fashanu is dominating at LT in both pass pro and he’s moving guys in the run game.

He has the tools and work ethic to be as good as the best who ever played the position, Anthony Munoz.

Be prepared when we face the Jets to see a very, very good set of OTs named Fashanu and Membou.

STOP. You don’t have to write something hyperbolic about the Jets every day. Please to ganggreen.com if you want to continue to fellate that loser franchise.

I’m telling you. The Jets are rising. I know it ticks you off. But Aaron Glenn is going to bring them to the promised land.
Assuming you are serious, maybe sarcasm? Not sure?
I don't get his hire, his defense with the Lions was ranked bottom part of the league for 3 years and between 7 and 12 depending on what stats last year and then gave up 45 in the playoffs. This was all with the #1 scoring offense on your team so always able to play from ahead.

Maybe he's a great leader and can defer the football stuff to great assistants but he was not a good DC so really weird he got hired to me.

This was a typical post on Reddit from Lions fans at the time

I’m happy he’s gone from Detroit I didn’t like him as a DC and now the lions get 3rd round picks. I’m sorry to tell you the jets just did the most jets thing ever

Some of us don’t have much spool of wire left…

THE WIRE IS HIS SOUL, *****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The correct response is to discuss and show all the wonderful things the spool of wire has done over the years, the projects it helped complete, the everyday items which were fixed because of the wire, etc, etc.

I want to save this and grudgepost you with it all year.
I won't, but I want to.

He may, but you can sure as hell bet that Woody Johnson will find a way to **** it up as he has done for the last 25 years.

Man did this guy fall off a cliff after he left Dallas.

The 30 year old cliff is a real thing in football. I didn’t believe it when I first heard people talking about it, probably because Brady was ageless, but the more examples that came up the clearer it became. It’s predominantly true at the positions and with the players who rely on their speed and quickness to be successful, but within those positions you can find players that defy it. Power running backs, like Derrick Henry, possession receivers, like Boldin and Fitzgerald, and just pure freaks of nature, like Champ Bailey are great examples of those that defy it, but the examples of those that fall off the cliff at 30-31far outweigh those who continue to really produce after that point.

I don’t think the same cliff applies to the big guys, as the examples of really good offensive and defensive linemen who keep producing at a high level after 30 is much higher than the “ skill “ positions, but im sure there is still some drop off there as well if you were to look closely at it.

BASED UPON WHAT? A couple of press conferences? You’re embarrassing yourself. It’s totally meaningless. I remember how many people were head-over-heels for Brandon Staley early on in his tenure based mainly on his press conferences. How did that work out?

Based upon Glenn’s tenure in Detroit as the DC, one should not expect him to be one of the rare coaches who is able to consistently out-scheme the opposition, like Reid, McVay, Payton and Belichick.

If you asked all of the execs across the league “If you had a head coaching vacancy and only could choose between Mike Vrabel and Aaron Glenn, who would you choose?”, in my opinion the vast majority would choose Vrabel. Most importantly, who is the QB who is going to bring the Jets to the promised land? That has been proven time and time again to be the most important factor in team success.

In summary, the Pats have a better head coaching situation and a better QB situation but you are more bullish about the Jets prospects in the coming years. Sounds totally logical and well thought out.
