This could be another situation like Ladd Mcconkey where its obvious Pats picked the wrong player. Will Campbell will not be in the sane top tier as Simmons.
I wanted a trade down if we were taking a tackle I was adamant about that. I wanted to move up and take the Unicorn in Hunter or the monster in Carter. He was a risk pick given the circumstances... he went where most thought he would.
I remember this being discussed.I think he has 33" arms, so he obviously sucks.
Ras IR Dowing.Like the Dynasty Patriots, KC has the luxury of taking chances on oft-injured / seriously injured prospects. Sometimes (Gronk) you hit a HR. Other times (Easley) you swing & miss. Long term : too many misses leaves your cupboard bare.
he fell about ⅜ of an inch short lolWhy is Campbell not in the same tier?
With our luck since the last Superbowl, Simmons would've been another Dominque Easley for us with injury problems not the stud he is so far in TC lolSupposedly he looks amazing so far in TC.

perfect summation.LT was such a need that we had little choice. Any move down the board came with the risk of missing out on a tier. Simmons could have gone anywhere from #10 - #32. As long as Campbell proves a good LT, I will be satisfied with the decision.
The premature hot takes on this board are out of hand.Steal of the draft being declared 29-July. C’mon man.
