I cannot wrap my head around how you guys would think that? Diggs...sure. But Hunter Henry has been his security blanket, and now he's got an OC that knows how to use TEs successfully. Pop... ok, sure. JMcD's track record with slot use is exemplary. Pop stands to be the biggest beneficiary from JMcD's arrival. I'm rooting for Williams but in reality, Williams, Boutte, Polk, Baker all need to go to work this summer.
From what I gathered from your post reply feels like your in agreement . Boutte has gotten better each season, the presence of Drake allowed pop to become unlocked last season and at least tap into his abilities. Williams a rookie but has legit speed and can separate and be a presence for Jake on the outside. Baker will be on the practice squad if he makes it.

Since rookies reported this past Saturday he’s probably working with more than just Williams.
I just mentioned Williams as he's the 3rd round pick no? Unless thier was someone else picked in the 3rd round?

You are correct. We have had sh!t for WRs for years, including your Booty. Hopefully Diggs, Williams, and Douglas can break thru this year. Henderson too?
Keep your hands off my booty.. .. but yes, we've had **** play at QB/OL/WR.. past few seasons..yes I'm very big on Williams.. Henderson i really like what he brings as a skill set.. he will be involved in also of spread formations and 3rd downs..

Not sure the reason, but according to his press conference, Vrabel expects him out there tomorrow
Curran was saying today that alot of time Non football Injury could entail something a player could have gotten from a certain medication or ailment or medical condition or simply a strain or pull working out at the facility.

It really can be anything. All it means is that it didn’t happen during a team activity. A player tore a muscle at a workout in the Gillette weight room this off-season during OTAs? PUP. A player tore a muscle at a workout in the Gillette weight room this off-season when he was just visiting the stadium for a workout? NFI.

Given that Vrabel expects him out there tomorrow hopefully it was something innocuous that’s healed already.

@Steve102

The post reply didn't come across as intended.. no worries. Sorry for the confusion.

That's another one that's going to hold WR #s down.

James White avg'd 409 yards/season receiving, Kevin Faulk avg'd 284, in a different time. I think Pats fans would be thrilled with production anywhere in that range for Henderson, and that would certain take #'s away from wideouts.

I find it outrageous that Tomasi STILL has a job in the Boston media market. At best, he only parrots what others in the media are saying. At worst he is going for click bait with no regard for facts, and I doubt he has ever had a real inside source in any team he covered. There are about 50 guys on this board who would do a better job.

BTW- As Mike Vrabel has said, I don't give a **** about ANY rating we had last year. It REALLY has nothing to do with the team that is going to be on the field THIS year.

Even in the midst of best of the runs of the last 2 decades, Bill always made a point to emphasize that EVERY year is a new year and a new team. Every year a team will turn over about 25-30% of its roster on average. Every year it would take time for a team identity to emerge and leadership to establish themselves. This is even more apparent THIS year with more personnel changes and the coaching changes.

Any references about last year's team or rankings are MORE than meaningless, they are stupid and a waste of time. This is a whole new ball game, folks. The past is in the past. And this goes for EVERY team. It's just the nature of the game. Every season is really its own entity and intrinsically unique.
