I still gotta finish the first one. Team's spoiling us this offseason.
They are Trying to make up for the mayo stench. I'd urge you to go into the man cave for 2 hours and watch episode 1 &2.. love what I saw.. and it's authentic nothing is scripted.

One of the coaches said coaching is teaching, I’m not sure last season’s coaching staff believed that. Moses is like having an additional O-Line assistant.
Last season we had some YMCA volunteers... as coaches..where there was direction obviously. I enjoyed both episodes.. of course the coaches know it's being filmed but it doesn't take away from the authenticity of it.. I'm looking forward the the rest of the episodes as we go along. Guys seemed genuine wether the camera is on or not..

At that level you get used to the fact that you’re living in a fishbowl. Or you should. It’s possibly a good thing if it gets players in the mindset that you are always on camera so don’t FA because you will be FO.

I believe what your saying is true. Vrabel likely put his stamp of approval on it.. like frankly, the organization/team has been an embarrassment the last few seasons so they are taking the right approach by showing a commitment at least to get back to winning or at least trying too..

Reiss quote on the video:

"It's probably the best camp I've ever been a part of as far as how the offensive and defensive line work against each other." -- Patriots offensive line coach Doug Marrone, in his 32nd year of coaching, on what he experienced during spring workouts

I noticed that comment. I think there were other comments that made me think he’s not the only coach who sees what Vrabes has built as an outstanding program already, perhaps Riley Larkin? But he’s still a young coach. Love the way Reiss cited Marrone’s seniority to subtly emphasize the point.

YMCA volunteers - LOL. Mayo from the top rope, Glaser jumping into the ring, and throw in some YMCA volunteers and see what happens. Too funny.

I know this is to hype up the team but there is a reality to this too.

Is there another NFL team’s next five years you would trade for the Pats’?

They really look like they could be special.

There is no way they could have done a “Forged in Foxboro” presentation going into last season that would have had any credibility.

Also, at one point in the video it looked like there was an OL, maybe #92, who was being coached and he looked gigantic.

Wondering if that was Marcus Bryant.

Number 92 is Joshua Farmer. 6’3” 312 rookie DT from FSU.

Dang looking that up I discovered Keion White (#99) is svelte. 6’5” 285. I hadn’t realized, thought he was more chunky.

I looked it up too, and Bryant is listed as #52.

I thought it was an OL though and maybe someone else is sharing the same number?

Maybe the coach was small but #92 looked huge.

I may watch the video again but others will also be looking for that now.

Keion White was 6'5" and 285 lbs. at the Combine over 2 years ago. I am sure he has bulked up since then, but White is more of a pass rush (penetrating) guy, not a sand in his pants run stuffer.

Having a resource like Marrone in the room, who seems, at least outwardly, to be secure in his role, is going to be invaluable. Vrabel did an incredible job assembling this coaching staff, lots of experience, with a good mix of younger guys, and lots of different perspectives (meaning, not stuck in the Patriots-centric fishbowl).

I feel pretty good that there's a competent coaching staff in place on both sides of the ball. Now it's up to see if the players can actually do it on the field. I think it's a winning coaching staff. Do we have enough winning players?

OK, I re-watched the video and it was either 75 or 76, so Moses or Jacobs but both huge guys.

I agree. There are so many adult voices in the room now under a strong leader in Vrabel.

Mayo talked about wanting collaboration, but he was over his head and his staff was a joke.

BB only wanted loyal rump swabs who worshiped him and didn't hire enough coaches because it meant less money in his pocket. Making Patricia an OC and Judge a QB coach speaks volumes. Now he's coaching the Tar Heels and his top advisor and handler is a 24 yr old.

Probably Bryant, he’s #52, he’s also the tallest guy on the roster at 6’7” 320 pounds.

Moses has his shirt off a lot. doesn't look like he was in the weight room much over the off season. is he recovering from an injury?
