Bradbury is a really good athlete for an offensive lineman. Assuming health he should have a very good year.
Bradbury is a good player, as I've said pay more attention to what coaches do than what they say regarding players.

The starters have been
Campbell
Strange
Bradbury
Ownenu
Moses

That is our best line up Ownenu, Bradbury and Moses are all experienced guys who've performed at a high level in the league.

Bradbury is about exactly the size of Andrews - who excelled with amazing grit, smarts & toughness while being clearly overmatched physically. I don't know if Bradbury can do that as well. And the reason we moved on from Andrews was his age and injuries were finally showing his weaknesses more. Personally, I'd rather have Brown be the backup if Bradbury falters - he's got the physical stuff (6'5" 315) and wasn't horrible in a HORRIBLE year for our OL. He's younger and more coachable. Wilson may develop, but he's SO green.

I like Bradbury and he brings valuable experience at C, he also was at helm last year with the Vikings 24 ppg. And the 9th scoring offense.

He will likely be the starting C unless Wilson or brown somehow surpass him and perform better. He has the veteran experience and the respect in the league.

Also the defensive line has been upgraded immensely so it's no shame on Bradbury, brown or Wilson if they have difficulty during the camp practices.

@signbabybrady

Love it!Patriots say they will have a "violent" defense this season

Interesting thing about Jake Andrews is he is the front runner to take the starting center job for the Houston Texans right now. We’ll see how he does.

That is very interesting. I thought J Andrews was injured and out of the league.

He was on IR last year. The Pats released him right after the draft, and Caserio claimed him off waivers.

Nice to have a fifth or sixth receiver on the field.

Jarrett Patterson is thier starting C.. Andrews I'm sure will have an opportunity to earn a roster spot there We drafted him in 2023, between injuries and not really playing much hard to say what he even is as a player.

Yep, probably gives them some depth behind Patterson thier starter.

Not too hard. BB played J Andrews at the end of 2023 because BB said he earned it.

Remember Stidham? BB refused to play Stidham for 1 or 2 games instead of the corpse of C Newton at the end of the season because, wait for it, Stidham had not earned it. Of course everyone now knows Stidham is a JAG.

If J Andrews earned it under BB, and he has fully recovered, it is hard to understand why we released him. I assumed J Andrews had not recovered from his meniscus tear, but if he is in Texans camp and doing well it is even more difficult to understand.

Good points. However I look at this way Vrabel evaluated the entire roster and likely felt J. Andrews wasn't going be part of the equation. He felt by his actions that Benny brown was worth keeping around.. because why?... he also in fact earned it. In my opinion Benny brown an undrafted guy showed more potential last season that he could play in this league. Although far from perfect.

Thanks for reminding me J. Andrews did play at the end of 2023 I can't seem recall him playing much. I know that he got hurt of course. He will have a fresh start in Houston under Ryan's and hopefully he can make thier roster.
