The Bill megathread (HC at UNC, girlfriend, etc.)

Nah you were talking up Zappe like he was the next Brady. Didn't show up here after he got shut out by the worst defense in the league after chirping at me all week. And I said Zappe was playing really well in the Steelers game and you got all triggered lol.

And no he didn't play better than Mac, they were the same.
Lie ^

Saying bench Mac and start anyone else to get a better look at them isn’t saying those other QB’s were great or even good.

I was very specific with my words, I literally said I had no idea what Zappe or Grier were as pros… only that we’d seen enough of Mac.

He brought with him all the knowledge he learned from Bill along with a few other great players that Bill developed that helped fill those flaws.
Had absolutely nothing to do with Bill other than the fact Bill forced him out of NE. It was his leadership and talent. He made everyone better. And good players wanted to play with Tom. Was no different here.

If I told you Tampa was a superteam in need of a QB then there are zero goalposts moved.

The funniest part of this conversation is I said Tampa was Tom’s best landing place before he even decided where he was going and have the receipts.

He learned all that from Bill.

?

Mac Jones was a perfect opportunity for Bill to prove he could develop a typical QB prospect who is not the GOAT.. and he failed miserably. Then Bailey Zappe who also failed miserably. Easy to conclude that BB while very good at scheming defense he absolutely reeks at building offense and developing QB's sans Brady.

Giving Bill credit for "developing" QB's like Brissett and Cassel which any coach in the league could do... lolololol. Wow team Bill really is grasping at straws to save their cratering narrative...

Fantastic. So why can't team Bill tell us why he failed with Mac Jones or anyone else if he was that great at developing QB's?

Because those guys were already loaded with talent. Bill himself admitted he's lucky that he got to work with great players. And no Bill did not develop the greatest kicker of all time. If you are talking about Vinatieri, credit to Parcells for that. Parcells also made Bill.

Belichick is a football coach, not ************ ( for those who believe in Christianity) , no one could have turned Mac Jones into an NFL Quarterback. That’s the real world equivalent of turning Roseanne Barr into Jennifer Lawrence. It simply cannot be done.

Absolutely. GOATs know GOATs.
SB1 thinks Brady was lying or wrong when Tom said Bill “took him under his wing” and “developed him.”

Kind of like Bill and Bob were lying or wrong when they said from 2021 on personnel was a collaboration.

Guy must be the greatest mind reader in history… or a hater.

If that was true then the GM of the team (not some nebulous collaboration - the GM only) made an inexcusable blunder by picking him at #15 in the first round. He ought to have known better.

But realistically we'll never know what he would be if and when he reached his ceiling. Bill clearly had no idea what he was doing anymore both as GM and coach, hence making Matt Patricia OC. Jones (and Zappe for that matter) never had a chance.

The Bill cheerleader is strong in this one.

Like Tom was going to say anything else about his former coach. Lol.

We know exactly what his ceiling was. The best coach of all time was able to get him to the playoffs before Mac got exposed.

Too bad his coaching absolutely sucked or he would have known how to adjust to the way the league was defending him.

Also they were very lucky to make the playoffs. They got in only because of a windstorm and because the Dolphins inexplicably lost to a 3-14 team.

He gets teared up talking about it but you think he's faking it. You're a joke and just say anything to keep your troll going.

And he left NE because of Bill, by his own admission in The Dynasty. What's your point?

That was 44th playoff game. Is that more than anyone else?

Brady chose to leave he wasn't traded or cut. In fact he never even gave Kraft a chance to re-sign him. He cited tension as one of the reasons he never said what you think he said but you're hatred blinds you to the truth.

HBD Bruschi who thinks Bill was the best coach who ever lived.

No I am sure he said what I think he said. And although I was upset at him leaving at first I don't blame him now at all.
