One of Patsfan 2 posts made me think of this. The Pats have Vrabel, Morrone, JM, Brown, McAdoo. That’s five. Has any team ever had that many? Does it matter? Is it an advantage?
It shows how much confidence Vrabel has. Not threatened by other coaches and just wants the best, people he can trust.
I think it’s an advantage because all have had oversight of an entire team and surveyed the big picture. Also, they were good enough as position coaches to get promoted.
Plus, not one was a Jets head coach.
