The Bill megathread (HC at UNC, girlfriend, etc.)

So weird that BB gets all the credit for developing Brady when he couldn’t develop any other QB. Notably one promising QB prospect being turned into a complete mess…

And what exactly did Bill “win” with those other guys? Btw Vinny peaked being coached by Parcells not BB.
Nobody gave BB all the credit, Charlie Weis deserves the lion’s share of credit… but then Bill hired Charlie. And what do you mean he couldn’t develop another QB? Cassel was a 7th round pick who didn’t start a single game in college, JimmyG was developed, so was Brissett. Jimmy was the only QB taken over two decades in the higher rounds.

Parcells had a 500 record with the Giants and Pat’s until he hired Bill, within one season of letting Bill run his defense his team was in the Super Bowl. Again… facts suck for you.

“League best”
Mac turned it over twice chuckles, they also got much younger after 2021. They failed in 2021 because Mac sucked, the QB you pretended was good and only bad because Bill ruined him. Then he went to the Jags and still sucked. Oops…

It always will and forever be a players game.
Coaches are vital and important but a players impact always exceeds that of a coach. .

All 22 starters, and the talent of depth behind them… not just one player on offense.

It’s also not coincidence the greatest coaches in history often drafted and developed the games best players. In a sport where a third of the league is made up of UDFA’s this is important.

Tom wasn’t out there playing defense or special teams… even if some fanboys here think Tom’s magic powers enhanced those other two phases.

Team Bill really must be grasping at straws when they’re trying to use Brissett and Cassel as a flex for their hoodied hero. Lol

And your point about Parcells isn’t relevant to the fact that Vinny was at his best under Parcells. BB had nothing to do with that. And no Parcells means no BB.

Tom was Bill’s QB for 20 out of 24 years genius.

And Cassel,Jimmy and Brissett proves you just run your mouth knowing what you’re saying is a lie.

Vinny was the same average player under Parcells that he was under Belichick. This is patently false… like most of the words you type.

Imagine talking up Bill developing QBs and using Brissett and Cassel as proof he’s good at it lolololol

Bill certainly didn’t win anything with any of those guys so once again you’re wrong.

His best season was under Parcells. He did nothing with Belichick but you’re still trying to credit Bill for developing him. Riiiight.

If Bill ought to be given all the credit for Brady when why couldn’t he develop Mac Jones instead of making him regress? #IKnowWhy

Imagine talking down Bill Belichick. The greatest coach of all time.

Jimmy went to another team and took them to a Super Bowl. Cassel went to a Pro Bowl with the Chiefs…. again, facts suck for you.

Testeverde went to the playoffs with Belichick, had the second best win percentage of his career… yeah, nothing.

Mac sucked. Why couldn’t Bill Walsh develop Steve Deberg or Giovanni Carmazzi?

You struggle with reality…

Going out on a limb here but it could be the reason Bill Walsh couldn't develop Giovanni Carmazzi was because Walsh was 12 years removed from being the Niners head coach when they drafted him. It would seem sometimes reality isn't quite your bosom buddy either

Bill Walsh was the GM, vice President and still dabbled in coaching… that’s reality.

8 rings is all the flex Bill needs.

He's so far beyond his peers none of this matters.
