Goal 1. What we need to do to win the AFC east in 2025?

To be the best we gotta beat the teams ahead of us. Brady won 17 AFC east championships. Remember Tshirt and hat day. We use to joke about it a long time ago. Now is the time to rebuild I hope. Just ain't easy to do. Gotta respect the history of this franchise.
Absolutely, the history means everything. We've had a long history of winning, we have championship coaches who know what it takes to get there.

According to JM Maye is making leaps and bounds and getting on really well learning the play book. Come the beginning of the season I think (hopefully) we can give Buffalo a run for their money.

Oh, I’m optimistic, for sure. He Maye turn out to be the best QB in that draft.

Would prefer to see Henderson take Stevensons job...
Not going to happen, they are two completely different players with very different roles. Henderson is the change of pace, the lightning to Rhams thunder. You want Henderson to get 10-15 touches a game because at least 5 of them will be electric. More then that he gets overworked, dinged up, and the big plays go away. Rham is the workhouse that gets 20-25 touches and absorbs a pounding and just keeps going. Not as many big plays but the consistent drive down the field wearing the defense out. Plenty of touches for both to be in their best role, which isn't each other's job.

I’ll be happy with winning season. Ecstatic with playoff berth. Winning division? A bit premature to expect that, but hope springs eternal

This isn't a long list...

1. First thing is the first thing on all 32 teams list... stay healthy. Luck in football = health.

2. Second thing is develop young talent. Possessing the talent is worthless if you can't draw the water from the well.

3. Third is execute at a high level. I want to see improvement through the preseason and even the start of the regular season. Dynasty teams that dealt with higher levels of turnover often turned a corner around midseason, in some cases later.

In 2018 for example they were inconsistent in all three phases. At the trade deadline BB acquired special team's aces Albert McClellan and Ramon Humber and the special teams went from weakness to strength. The defense followed, before the offense finally put together a complete game at the end of the regular season.

This team's future is ahead of them if they continue to improve. Health, development, execution.

Developing talent has been a serious shortcoming for this franchise for years. Of there is ONE thing that would disproportionately elevate the team back to relevance, it’s figuring out how to get the best of players

4 pages in and I'm still thinking the bus crash looks like our best option

Brady's precision incisions and Clock Killin' Corey Dillon made the '04 offense and its death of a 1000 cuts my favorite offense of this century. You could look at the opposing sideline and see them losing their will.

1978 is still #1 in my heart though. Gray folding back the edge, Francis sealing it off and Hannah pulling, clearing up any leakage then clearing the way. Not only did the opposing D know what was coming and failed to stop it, they practically ran the other way rather than take it on. It was glorious, pure football porn
I almost felt bad for the DBs when Hannah was coming around the corner toward them. There was no escape.

Brady's revenge season was perfect.

But there was, haha. Plenty of times you could see DB's shading over only to see them somehow slow down just enough to not quite get there or even worse blatantly pull up. I can't be the only one here that remembers riding opposing defenses for it. We were a vocal bunch in Billy's Cement Bowl

I get wanting to be realistic etc….but to those who didn’t say SB or nothing….shame on you!

To win the division you need to be able to beat the Bills when you play them.

-#1 key to the entire season, outside of good health overall, is the left side of the line. If Campbell can be an average NFL LT in year 1, big for this team. If any one of the LG candidates can do the same, big win.

If they get solid to good LT and LG line play, they can contend with the Bills. If they don't they won't.

-Bills drafted a ton of players on defense, makes sense as the defense was only OK. A good offense can put up points against them. Score 30 you are in great spot to win. Which brings us back to the offensive Line.

-The Bills are weaker in the middle of the O-line than the tackles, Barmore and Williams are key to dominating the front. Bills receivers are not scary but not terrible, but Pats should have a strong secondary so they can match up well.

With Diggs, the draft picks and the TE's I think Pats have enough at the skill positions for Drake to have a big year. IF the line can hold up they can challenge the Bills.
