The Bill megathread (HC at UNC, girlfriend, etc.)

I told him before to put me on ignore if he didn't like what I had to say and he refused. Strange.
Well don't be too hard on him. He just spent his entire allowance buying himself a pair of red pants.

His final season here, Bill Belichick was like the guy who wanted to break up with his girlfriend (in this analogy, the Patriots are the girlfriend, not Bunny) but he was too chickenshit to do it himself so he completely checked out mentally, acted like a total jerk, and then let the Patriots do what any self respecting organization would do and drop his sorry ass.

His problem is once he got on the open market, he was nowhere near the catch he thought he was. He got on his hands and knees to beg the Jets for a job but they told him to go screw. Atlanta allegedly came close, but now they definitely feel like they dodged a bullet.

His fall from grace has been pretty incredible. To run to the Jets (and get denied) is the lowest of lows.

You looking to purchase a bridge in Brooklyn?

If Curran is right, this is a very bad look for Bill.
Mailing it in during the 23 season?

The guy who says do your job is distracted by a 23 year old cheerleader.
The guy is a hypocrite.
Possible. I think Bill knew that the team he had put together was a steaming pile of and so he checked out.

The guy is a hypocrite.

That's what we got with late period BB. Cam Newton. Thrown-together coaching staffs using former hangers-on, and his sons.

I often wonder if the writers of Superman used kryptonite as a metaphor for ****y: it takes away your focus and thus your power.

BB should be worldly enough to avoid a ****y trap, but nope, he's showing he's more than capable of succumbing.

I think he's kinda stuck in that trap: if he goes into full retirement mode then maybe Jordon gets bored and leaves, so he's gonna be at UNC for a while, IMO.

Curran is bought and paid for by Kraft.

His coverage is slanted, Kraft just mailed in last season by hiring Mayo when everyone on this forum knew Vrabel was the better hire where's his coverage of that?

Krafts decision has way more chance of being harmful long term if Drake struggles to pick up the new offense all because of the ego of one man thinking he was smarter than everyone else.

Why is he digging into 2023 and not 2024 and the disaster that Kraft caused, Curran is taking shots cause Bill treated him like dirt for years and he doesn't like him where as he wouldn't question Kraft because he wants his access it's easy to take shots and write this when someone is no longer here if he was any kind of "insider" he would of had the balls to cover him like this when he coached the Patriots.

I wouldn't be surprised if Bill mailed it in but let's be serious you mail it in because you have no quarterback and know you're getting fired not because you have a hot new young piece.

When in doubt just make stuff up

Coming Sunday?
There's just no way. Aside from the fact that we would probably know by now, he would be completely destroying not only what tiny shred of dignity he has left, but this would be so over the top egregious, he would probably also ruin his sons' careers.
