I think Giardi published some research that shows that not to be significant in predicting wins. Counter intuitive. But probably because bad teams end up with easier schedules.

Yep; and we’ve had the Easiest schedule in the Entire league the last 4 seasons, but didn’t have the personnel nor coaching to take full advantage of it.

While i think he makes the team, Pop is not a lock.....a guy like Chism could very well make him expendable if he doesn't have a good camp

Love the optimism but Pop Douglas could be Elite from the Slot. He has two full NFL seasons under his belt counting last year unfortunately. I expect to see Pop shine with Slot OC King Josh McDaniels. Oh and I love the prospects of Chism too or is it III.

Going by last season's power rankings, the Pats have the easiest schedule in the AFC and maybe in all of football.

I always try refrain from saying easy. only because even when we were winning and in championship games every year.. i can remember talk about easy schedules.. and we would drop some of those perceived easy games. But to your point the schedule isn't as daunting as say last season.

Twin absolutely correct, I remember wes Welker best season he had 126 catches under Josh from the slot. I see pop getting at least 90 to 100 targets.. just imagine how much room he will have to work with cannon arm Drake, master route runner diggs and Henry over the middle. Williams carrying coverage down field.!!

Big time, and championship coach will get every ounce of talent out of pop he could become a pro bowl/all pro level slot WR. It's amazing pop still had 500 plus yards under Jerod rust.

We need to start fast and stack up wins early. The AFC is the strength of the NFL.. so by the time December hits we can have put ourselves in good position. Not like last few seasons where by October we were already out of the playoffs
