Nice try but the Bill hate started before we even knew who Jordan Hudson was.

No one said there weren’t people who “ hated” Belichick, my post was simply in relation to the Jordan Hudson issue, which is entirely of her and Bill’s making. Bill has demonstrated the ability to keep his personal life separate from his professional career, and he could have done the same in this instance by keeping their personal relationship personal, instead of allowing her to inject herself into his professional life. Personally I don’t give a **** either way, but to try and pin the blame on everyone else is ******** in my opinion.

I agree, I was also surprised when he supported her. But that little head cause us old folks to make some strange decisions or actions. Not me, I am 89, and that is over, but I do remember a few years back, need I say more?

BB is Lombardi's main meal ticket. They've done all kinds of media together since BB left as HC of NEP, and now he's Bill's GM at UNC. Also BB is a key connection that has helped Mike's kids get jobs in the NFL and college. OTOH he can't defend Bill and Bunny, it's totally against the old image of Bill as a no-nonsense football czar that Lombardi preaches about. So, best to say nothing.

Not surprised Florio is reveling in Lombardi's misery, he's just that kind of guy.
