Patriots Injury News Barmore cleared

Was anyone else blown away by the significant difference in appearance from Barmore from last year to this year? He looks so trim. I know there are pads, but I think there is a huge difference? Did he slim down to get faster and pass rush?

He might have lost weight because of the sickness. I hope this young man is going to be ok this season. He looked to have a promising future ahead of him until the blood clot issues.

It’s hard to say. Reports on his medical condition, at least the national stuff we get here in DC have been super limited.

It’s worrisome that they keep says “clots” plural, rather than clot singular. My hope would be that he had one large clot in the leg that broke apart and threw emboli to other areas rather than multiple spontaneous clots. That could be caused by any number of things. Or just be bad luck. Multiple clots implies some sort of inherited condition or malignancy, both of which would require ongoing treatment at least with blood thinners. Or anabolic steroid use. Which makes the “he looks smaller” comments interesting.

Sorry. Vitamin deficiencies will also cause multiple clots. Tends not to produce a bunch of them at the same time like Barmore had. More likely to produce multiple clots over a period of years

Sounds dumb but I don't think people are even aware they are pluralizing it when they say it. I honestly can say I don't think I ever thought twice about it and I have a genetic condition that impacts my cardiovascular system. Clots aren't my issue though.
