2025 Rookie Minicamp

Looks more like a slot WR than a RB. Listed as 202 lb and looks less than that here. Average weight for an NFL RB is more like 215.
But James White was 205 lb, and that worked out fine.
He can catch like a slot receiver.

My first thought was stroke or very high blood pressure.
I just know that the first time I saw him I thought he was seriously overweight. That's probably part of whatever problem he's dealing with. But, it's correctable.

I can envision some 20 personnel with Gibby and Hendo in a split back formation with Diggs, Williams and Pop. Gibby and Hendo are both good receivers as well as good in pass pro, so McD can send 5 out into routes or keep Gibby and Hendo in to block. I can imagine the all sorts of matchups in our favor.

Gibby & Hendo, love this ! It’s pretty excited having both players, both good receiving backs. Just makes the offense less predictable, especially how McDaniels loves to use RBs to catch the ball.

I am super excited same with some 22 personnel that will hopefully make the defense bring in bigger personnel, while Hunter and Henry are not great athletes they are reliable receivers. So many options and McD is creative so I anticipate seeing things this year that are very unconventional.

I just heard the interviews with Campbell, Williams, and Wilson talking to the media.

We have already heard Will Campbell but was my first time hearing Kyle Williams and Jared Wilson.

Kyle was serious and confident. He mentioned that his goal is to be an elite player, but it was not delivered braggadociously like we heard from Baker last year.

I was really impressed with Jared Wilson. Personable and intelligent, very well-spoken. Seems like a leader.
heard the interviews and i just want to piggyback a little of this. all three are very impressive young men and jared wilson may be my new favorite. what a smart, thoughtful, engaging (all three are) young man. you can tell he's got a cool demeanor and personality. stoked we drafted him so trey's gonna have to take a back seat to my new favorite.....for now.

This picture came into my social media. I've no idea how good a player Mr Conley will be, but he looks just how I want a rookie offensive lineman to look!
Conley is a guy who, from what i read and heard, is a guy while it isn't shocking that he went undrafted, it is mildly surprising. He was a high priority UDFA. So a guy that has a chance to stick.

Larison, Lampe, Ponder, Dipree, Conley, Chism were all high priority guys to various degrees. Some more than others. The fact we got 6 such guys is a massive win.

eh, i'd rather have him sit out over a contract than have any type of injury that causes him to miss practice time starting day 1... it sucks, and its not a good look for him, but football is as much a business as it is a sport...
People forget that the Pats have kost a couple if promising rookies in minicamps to injury.

Haven't seen it listed, but here are the players who are at Minicamp on a tryout basis:

14 rookie tryout players (from Masslive.com)

"Here’s a list of the other tryout players from Friday: cornerback Chris Mills, linebacker R.J. Moten, safety Myles Redding, linebacker Nchabanu Fortaboh, center Tuli Teuhema, defensive tackle Wilfried Pene, guard Mekhi Butler, tackle Devonte Gordon, receiver Phil Lutz, defensive tackle Bryce Ganious, and defensive tackle Isaiah Iton."

You said Hunter and Henry... Did you mean Henry and Hooper?? As in Hunter Henry and Austin Hooper???

Larison is all vut guaranteed a roster spot. Terrell Jennings better come in like his slot depends on it because it DOES..

Interesting that one clip mentioned Vrabel talking about Bell and Westover. Both are guys who are likely PS bound... I honestly thought Vrabel would cut Westover over Ricci, but clearly Vrabel learned something that won him over in the time between when Ricci was signed and the end of the draft.
