Trolling Mayo?

I wonder if the practice shirt was his from way back when. I think hitting the time machine would be cool, trolling Mayo not so much.
it was a long time ago, but i do not remember ever seeing yellow pullovers in practice... white offense, blue defense, red - do not hit the effing qb...

Can't tell if the numbers are black or blue. If they're black maybe they're from his Steelers days. Although he wore 96 back then.

You obviously have no idea what level of a ball buster Vrabel is. He's a 100% go for the jugular type of guy. If it's not a coincidence and he's trolling, I have zero problem with it. Mayo did zero for this franchise, he was a joke as HC.
Gotta wonder if Mayo bad mouthed Vrabel last year or sometime in the past to warrant this plain as day troll job

This goes against your deep dive that Vrabel once wore 51 and against my asking if it might be his old 51 penny.

But I actually think they used the yellow to throw on real quick when they are pretending to be someone else on another team. Not sure how that would apply here as we aren't playing anyone anytime soon but just something I think I have seen before.

Yellow; DO NOT HIT THE F'N COACH (if you want to make the team)

it could be an actual honest to god pinny he wore back in 2001... I just don't remember them wearing yellow at the time... but, take that with a grain of salt on the rim of a margarita glass... just cuz i dont remember, doesnt mean it didnt happen, ya know?

I think I remember seeing Jules in a yellow pinny when he was real young probably doing scout team stuff.

Edit: I tried to Google it and I guess Jules used to wear kent State yellow as an undershirt so now I'm wondering if I'm just remembering that. Oh well.

thats awesome... will have to dig deeper into that

I think it's more of that he doesn't give a f. I doubt that he has a beef with Mayo - Why would he keep a Mayo family member on the payroll if there was bad blood?

Conversely, I remember all kinds of **** that never happened. Like when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor
I'll go to my grave believing they are called Berenstein bears.

He's compartmentalizing

But everybody probably hit him anyway... 'cause Jules.
LOL

But actually If I'm remembering the use of yellow correctly it wouldn't be a no contact thing and the point was to draw attention to him. I think it was used for guys like Polamalu so they could practice seeing him do his out the box stuff and it would stand out.

Could have been scout team QB'ing too, he was a QB after all.
We are halfway to Messerschmitts over Pearl Harbor, no point in turning back now
