Is there a WR worth pick 69? I don't see one. I feel confident i can say 100% is. So we just pass and not address it rather than reach. I'll say again... I really really really like Tight End Fannin. He's probably a more dangerous pass catching than any WR left.

Jaylen Royals, Jalin Noel and Kyle Williams would be fantastic picks, but I am still not sure they go that route.

They did put a lot of work into Noel and Williams though so there's some sort of interest.

We have too many holes to fix in one off season, you can only do so much.

This is a multi year rebuild the first step is a respectable season with at least wildcard contention and a bigger flash of QB potential to make this a free agent destination for genuine offensive talent rather than a wasteland where no one wan

Interesting that he only averaged 1.5 catches per game in his college career.

He played on a terrible offense. Bad QB Bad coaching, etc... The athleticism is there to become special. He should be avail in the 4th so that would be a low risk, high reward type of pick.

When at Oregon, he was at 1 catch per game (26 catches/25 games). It improved at Tenn, but not much.. 39 catches in 22 games.

But, as you alluded to, a 4th round pick wouldn't be a bad place..

Personally, I wouldn't look at WR at all. Because of the cost they've already put into it and the fact that they said they want to give Baker/Polk a chance.

I think that OC, DE, OG, Safety, DT, and CB are bigger needs that need to be addressed and taking a flyer on a guy like Thornton would be a luxury pick. I don't see the pats in a position for Luxury picks.

Put Thornton on the DK route running program. Vertical stems but I dont think he is position flexible enough for McD offense
