Lots of vague rumors about Burden's attitude/character fwiw.

In other news, I think it's fair to say that teams are indeed worried about Josh Simmons' knee.
Yup some rather interesting draft drops today. There's likely a story that explains why.

Today is the day !

Your binkie will be drafted !

Just know it !
O
Any idea why Luther Burden is falling? Bad interviews or combine? He might drop out of the 1st now.
I’m a Missouri fan and although OL is an area of need, I would much rather have Burden than Membou. Burden didn’t have as great a year last and got frustrated at times that he wasn’t getting the ball as much. A key reason was that the protection wasn’t as good and Brady Cook was getting more yards by running through the protection than holding the ball and trying to find Burden. I think Burden has the talent and drive to be impactful at an elite or approaching elite level. I’d be happy if the pats take him.

If Egbuka and Higgins both make it to #38 who do you take?

Maybe just as relevant, would you take Kyle Williams over either of them at #38?
Egbuka is gone.

Love all these sob stories and prayers answered stories from the families after these guys got that with NIL lol. They’ve been getting by just fine for years now.

Not over Egbuka. Maybe over Higgins. Williams, Noel and Bech are my preferences for tomorrow. I do like Higgins too.

Egbuka is off the board though. Went to the the Bucs.

We can't be burning top 100 picks when there are so many needs to fill, still. You trade back on and get Golden, your next pick is 77, with gaping holes at safety, edge and running back
They’re not going to fill every need. Even if they spend one pick on every need, no one bats 1000
In the draft. If they like a guy enough it’s fine to move up and land a guy you feel really strong about solidifying one need.

Thanks for the perspective. Interesting take. Burden might just drop to #38. Patriots should have some good choices as long as there isn't a sudden run on receivers.

I don't think Golden is a sure thing either. Certainly not worth burning real draft capital for.

I mean, that was the injury that took down our former HC. He did play the next year in 2015 but he wasn’t the same, and when he got hurt again he decided to call it quits. Torn patella tendon on anyone and torn archilles on a lineman are really bad news (Wilfork wasn’t the same after his, and I think that injury is likely the ultimate reason Isaiah Wynn never reached his full potential).

9 more picks before us. If we are going WR Higgins, Harris, Burden, Noel still left.
May have pick of a few of them.
Many good non-WRs that could go in those 9

Egbuka went 19th.

I'm taking Higgins.
Oops missed seeing that. Egbuka is indeed no longer an option. Higgins is a big bodied WR at 6-4. Wonder who will make it to #38 tomorrow.

Lions go with Tyleik Williams. Big dude to stuff the run 6'3 326.

Just 3 more picks to go.

I totally agree, but there was a flurry of anonymous reports in the past couple of days that Simmons was looking good and teams weren't worried. It seemed too good to be true, and apparently was!
