Campbell and Skoronski similarities

Not open for further replies.

This guy started all 33 games at LT in college
Just like WC
Short arms just like WC
Similar size
Drafted by Titans in forst round at 11 to play LT
Guess what happened?
He could not cut it at LT and was moved to guard in first season

Same will happen with WC
Do not draft a guard with 4 th pick
Listen to Dante Scarnechia

A lot of people would be concerned about constantly giving off the appearance of being a whiny self indulgent putz continuously seeking new ways to ***** about the same thing in an ever so slightly different way. But not our Sam, bless his heart

Skoronski had 32 1/4 inch arms
Campbell has 33 inch arms
If arm length matters so much. Then that is a huge discrepancy
They say 33 inch minimum. Campbell reaches the 33 inch minimum

More important we will not pick Jeanty at 4
On the biggest stage against a good team he **** the bed
2 fumbles and 60 yards through 3 qtrs. Had a 2.2/yd carry through 3 qtrs.
Penn State had the lead and was giving up the run is when Jeanty padded his stats to get 30 carries for 104 yards
Boise state was force feeding Jeanty at the end so he could try and break the record

But thats the thing, they did not draft him to be a LT they drafted him to play LG. Another thing that you are conveniently leaving out is that Campbell is much more athletic than Skoronski. I really would rather they not draft Campbell, but stop twisting facts to strengthen your stance.

Below is a link to an article with Ran Carthon explaining why he didn't get a shot at LT

One other similarity
Vrabel also drafted Skorinski

Vrabel being the HC in TN in '23 doesn't mean Skoronski was his pick. Per owner Amy Strunk on multiple occasions, Ran Carthon had final say on the Titans 2023 and 2024 drafts but why let facts get in the way? C'mon man, do you really think if Vrabel and Ryan Cowden had any say the Titans would have used every one of their picks in '23 on offense? smdh

Hopefully Vrabel learned from that mistake

One more similarity, maybe?

Year 1 starters at the position they were drafted to play... PS at LG, WC at LT

Dante said arm Length doesn’t matter

Joe Thomas who had 33.8 inch arms also said that arm length is over rated and then mentioned that the way their arms are measured are not the very accurate to the on field application.
I can’t imagine an on field application where it would matter. An inch of arm length is a knuckle. Wingspan never comes into play when blocking.

You blather about listening to Scarnecchia, yet he's the one telling you that you're putting too much into Campbell's arm length. Which, BTW, are actually the same length or slightly longer than Matt Light's.

But, you don't care about facts. You care about blathering and upping your post count.

Ty Rex!!! Here we go, baby!!!

You don't draft a RB at 4 and have him automatically become of the highest paid RB in the league instantly.

How man delusional lies can one person make up about Skoronski and Campbell being similar? Actually, no they are very different. Campbell is 2 inches taller at 6'6". Campbell's 40 time was 4.98 while Skoronski was 5.16. Campbell's RAS Score was 9.89 and Skoronski was between 8.89 to 9.31 depending on who you read. Campbell's athleticism makes him different. Campbell's tape is also very different, but I would never expect Sam to have the ability to watch tape and identify what he is seeing. The conferences are radically different.

Worst case scenario is Campbell plays year 1 at LT and is way better than Lowe. No matter how you slice it, lie all you want, Campbell will be a major upgrade over Lowe. If Campbell just laid down on every play, he would still be better than Lowe. If the Pats are smart, they will draft a second LT for development. If Campbell needs to slide inside next year, then we have a Trapilo type in the wigs. Pick order: LT, WR, BPA, LT. We need an edge, DL for the rotation, and a RB for depth. This is a great draft for those in the middle round this year.

The draft cannot get here soon enough just to shut Sam up. The whining is ridiculous.

Don't you get well and truly tired of being negative. Campbell has played three seasons at LT and better evaluators than you or I say his arm length is not a problem. You have no idea how he will turn out.
Sam does not get much of anything. He just get on here and whines. I wonder if he is intoxicated line Wozzy when he posts.
