Cant imagine hed come cheap and he only has one okay season. Pass.

Certainly kick the tires.

No indication Detroit is willing to trade him so might be a little premature.

Compensation would be tricky on this one since he was a high pick still on his rookie deal. And he really only has the one good season last year. So Detroit would want good compensation and Williams seemingly wants to get paid.

Not sure I'd want to pay up on both ends for him. Can probably satisfy Detroit with some deal like a 3rd rounder this year and another next year based on production like a 4th that's turns into a 3 if he hits certain marks. But satisfying Williams would be trickier and probably why they are in this position now.

That's getting a little too cute because he's only 24: I'd go Second this year: Third next to sweeten the deal.

The problem with him isn’t talent, he’s got that in spades, but it’s his head. Vrabel is trying build a culture and I’m not sure he’d fit it. He’s talented so I’d kick the tires and dangle 38 but no way would 4 be involved.

I could be convinced to negotiate the picks a little but I'd still want next year's pick based on production since he's only had one good year.

That means he wants a new deal. Lions window is closing, so trading him would be foolish.

Swap of firsts I would do then take Simmons.

Not for a disgruntled player that's too far: from 4 to 28 no way.
I'll tell you what, I give you chit about being the high priest of the WR Cult, but freakin' LTD is passing out Kool-Aide like he's Jim flippin' Jones. He's a true believer.
