Greg Bedard seems to think the Pats may be making a blockbuster trade soon

Why are you using a trade chart created in 1993 and that many improvements have been made?
Fun fact - Jimmy Johnson didn't create the Jimmy Johnson NFL trade chart, Geep Chryst is credited with creating it.
The draft chart is fun to use, but it is idiotic how many people think it is gospel. Every single year, the draft chart changes based on the strength - or lack thereof - of the players in the draft. Some drafts are deeper than others. It is moronic to think that one single chart can summarize all drafts.

....and the most recent research indicates that lower level draft picks result in even fewer solid players than the chart typically accounts for.

I still call it Twitter, as does pretty much everyone I interact with there (and I have over 8k followers in a non-sports oriented field).

Count me in as one of those. I won't give the DBag Elon the satisfaction of calling it what he named it (i can be like that...) . Honestly I think it sounds better along with it being it's original name....

I don't have any social media accounts.

Almost all the way with you on that. Kudos to you!

I gotta think it’s close to coming to fruition if Bedard is confident enough to to say he knows.

And Cleveland for Hunter makes the most sense.
What does Bedard rhyme with?

Nick Chubb??

Unfortunately the cost of Parsons would be prohibitive. 2-3 first rounders, maybe more. Then 40 million a season on top of that. This team is 2-3 years from serious contention, and that’s the optimistic take. I would love to have Parsons but the costs are too high and the timing isn’t right.

I'm ok with patching together LT for another year if it means we get Micah but maybe there's a way to get both.
I'm thinking a pick swap. Our #4 plus #69 for their #12 plus Micah Parsons and their 5th.

They can draft the best player at #4 and not have to pay Parsons. We can still get a pretty good OL or WR at #12 then we need to pay Parsons a long term deal.

No idea how much it would actually cost for a trade, just spitballing some trade ideas.

Sign me up.

I think it might cost more than that but I like your thinking maybe a pick swap in the first and 38 for Micah. Veterans due big money don't always bring the haul that one might think but I think Micah is another level so I'd want that 2nd if I were Dallas and as a Patriot fan I wouldn't let that stop us.

Then hopefully can still get Membou or Campbell. Or even Simmons if we're good enough with his health to take him that high.

PS: of course this is a pipe dream but let's have fun anyway.

I think we would be looking at the 25’ 1st round pick (4), the 26’ 1st round pick, the 25’ 2nd round pick, and the 26’ 2nd round pick for Parsons. And 40 million a season to sign him.

Now that seems a little high for someone you also have to pay.

Not so sure I'd sign up for that much.

VJC was a little light and maybe I was too but once number 4 overall comes into play I'm not giving up an additional 1 after that. I guess after seeing this a pick swap and a second was not enough though.

for all that go get a game breaker deal with Cleveland.
With Mikes connection I’m sure it wouldn’t be cost prohibitive if they felt Sanders was there at 4.

Parsons putting up photos of Lawrence Taylor and other Giant pics, tells me he feels confident he is going at 3.

That puts 4 up for sale cause Sanders will be there.

Confirmed Borisman is a bot
What I said was fact. X is A LOT more useful and informative than bluesky football news.
I don't see anyone posting useful football links from bluesky accounts.
Just because I triggered a Wib Todd doesn't make me, or 75% of X/Twitter users, a bot (as someone said 300M out of 360M users are bots)
If you don't like the app don't use. It's simple. A lot on here agree and don't use X or any other social apps.

There is no way they would ask for that if they actually intended to trade him. Because there is no way any sane team would pay that.
