He's got it now I hopeIt's called satire. No one has said this because it sounds stupid, but it's the type of sentiment that goes around.

Drake Maye is already a HOF’er… get a grip.Aint no way you're serious about this
Well ok, no, but nobody is gonna care that Joe Milton is sitting behind Drake Maye when he throws an interception...nobody except 98.5 the sports hub and Mike from woostah will be that stupid to think he's coming to take Maye's jobDrake Maye is already a HOF’er… get a grip.
My biggest concern going into the season is Maye continues to be careless with the ball which was a concern coming out of UNC.This was such a wussy move, they didn’t want to deal with the chirping and locker room dissent if Maye doesn’t stop throwing stupid interceptions. There can’t be dissent if there is no better young option.
Tucker-Romo any good?? On the trade..This move was more of the team doing right by JM3 Granting his wishes to be able to go somewhere to have a chance to start.. with rumors swirling about Dak being moved it's sensible...Probably a pick so we can grab a kicker. Slye sucks. Ryland was the guy and we cut him. Need a new draft pick for a new kicker.
They you speak of are no longer on the Patriots coaching staff.Milton is/was a Mayo binkie. While we think every Patriots front office person is a dolt and should be fired, JM3 didn't bring better than a 5th is because no team offered better than a 5th. They see him perform every day, we got to see him do a good job is a game each team was trying to lose. JM may be a great athlete, but the NFL thinks he's a backup QB at best.
Not one interception, what if he starts throwing them every game like Mac Jones.Well ok, no, but nobody is gonna care that Joe Milton is sitting behind Drake Maye when he throws an interception...nobody except 98.5 the sports hub an Mike from woostah will be that stupid to think he's coming to take Maye's job
I've been saying that for a couple months now, almost word for word.Again - WHY do people think Milton was worth more than a 5th? He was drafted in the 6th one year ago, so the league valued him as a 6th. All he has done since then was beat Buffalo's 3rd string in a game that his opponent was actively trying to lose. That's not really any different from winning a pre-season game. Whoop dee doo? It elevated his value one round, which is better than nothing.
I don't know why people think that his one game of action against back-of-roster talent and an opponent throwing the game somehow skyrocketed his value. I had him pegged as a 4th at best.
I didn't think about the Prescott rumors - worth mentioning. I don't know how much validity there is to those, at least right now, but he's in his 30s and has never been all that impressive while also being grossly overpaid so I could see it at some point.Tucker-Romo any good?? Agreed, everyone thinks he is a superstar already. He still has a lot of developing and improving to do.My biggest concern going into the season is Maye continues to be careless with the ball which was a concern coming out of UNC.
Watching everyone freak out because they gave him away is funny. Clearly, none of us here on this forum know what the hell we are talking about. Everyone here thought he was worth more. Some guys wanted a 2nd. I seem to recall someone wanted a 1st. So.. who's right? Us, sitting on the computer, picking our ass and yelling "Ma! The meatloaf!!" or the pros in the NFL. Obviously it's us.flipping a 6th for a 5th for a practice squad player? we just fleeced the Cowboys, lol
Yeah playing against 3rd stringers in a game where the Bills wanted to get it over with isn't anything that's going to increase his value.I had some pretty intense arguments with the usual idiots in here who thought he was worth a first/second rounder.
My claim was that he was a 6th rounder last year and there is nothing that happened this past year which increased his value significantly. We wouldn't get anything more than a day 3 pick for him and in this case we gave up Milton plus a 7th and still didn't do better than a day 3 pick.
Again - WHY do people think Milton was worth more than a 5th? He was drafted in the 6th one year ago, so the league valued him as a 6th. They did not get Dallas’ 5thAgain - WHY do people think Milton was worth more than a 5th? He was drafted in the 6th one year ago, so the league valued him as a 6th.
