No Hunter, No Carter, No Problem take Tyler Warren

Why not trade down?
If we trade back to 15-ish one of the 4 Ts (Campbell, Simmons, membou, banks) is there and you get at least a second and maybe much more.
No problem with a trade down. it really does depends on the return though. If the draft is as weak as they say, is the return for moving down going to offset the possibility of losing out on the guy you want? if you think a second is enough, then do it. swap of picks and a second, id rather take my guy at 4. swap and two seconds 25/26, id think about it

Are we going to get an Everyday LT there?
We keep kicking the can down the road, and we've had GARBAGE at LT.
When Are we going to draft a good LT?

You can’t just say trade back dude, the Patriots can’t trade back if the value isn’t there, that would be stupid
Any trade back is better than Warren at 4. He is worth much less VALUE than a 4th.

For example, if we trade to 6th for a 4th with the idea of picking Membou, Campbell or Banks, this would likely be better value on our board than picking anyone at 4.

Do you think Drake Maye cares about Value, or saving his ass?
Blue Tent is a problem.
Serious question.

Drake would personally deliver the card for a top starting LT.

Ashton Jeanty is probably the best player at any position. If they’re simply going BPA… he is a freak. He looks like the best runner to enter the league since Barry Sanders, and Barry is the GOAT.

Belichick always said that TE is the second hardest position to learn after QB. That means a college TE might not project well into the NFL.
Everyone suggesting a trade down should realize that the return might be very minimal given the draft is pretty flat from 4 down through the low double digits. Yes it only takes one team, but chances are teams will reject the usual trade value. Remember you have to pay the higher pick more too.

Just draft a stud LT And suck it up.
Stop acting stupid.
We NEED that MAN.

Don’t really think Diggs is gonna be a stretch the field guy here

The value is going to be there because both the raiders and jets are gonna need that QB.

Absolutely the pats are trading back if Carter and Hunter are gone.

IDGAS WHAT we get, as long as Drake has left side protection.
Membou, Campbell, whatever.
Some of you guys don't get it..
You're fancy toys won't get the ball if Maye is on his ass, or in the tent...hopefully not in the locker room getting worse news.
Get him protection.

Win and lose are an at all positions in the NFL, not just the LOS.

Otherwise why did one of the greatest LTs of all time, Joe Thomas, not play a single playoff game his entire career and have a 1-15 record followed by an 0-16 record?

You don't win with a bad team regardless how talented your oline is.
He was ONE PLAYER.
NICE TRY.

Let me ask a SIMPLE QUESTION.
How many QBS have favorable Stats without a decent left side? How often has it happened?

Shiny toys SUCK when you can't get it to them.

He was ONE PLAYER.
NICE TRY.
The Cowboys had 3 All Pro Olinemen in recent years with Tyron Smith, Frederick and Zach Martin (a Future HOF) plus a real good RT in Lael Collins.

They won ZERO playoff games.

Again, having the best oline means nothing without having a complete team.

The Browns had Joe Thoms one of the best ever, Joel Bitonio a solid LG, Alex Mack a 7 time pro bowler, and Mitchell Schwartz another All Pro at RT. That's what they had on the oline when they went 3-13, 1-15, and 0-16.

They had one of the best olines in football during that period.

Agree. I like Membou as well, but Campbell is a class act, and exactly the kind of player you want in your program, I think Membou has a higher ceiling, but I will still be happy if they take Campbell. I see Zabel, Banks, and Conerly as the next tier, then Simmons and Ersery. I heard a really concerning report about Simmons the other day, but it was about his demeanor as a player, not the one. And I want glass eaters all over this team.
That stuff is something to think about... I'm pretty aggressive with this stuff. Simmons is hurt, and he's an egomaniac....
Fk this punk ass. Who the fk in their right mind would think he's 1st Rd.
Dudes a fkn PUNK, With a **** knee. Bah

The arm length isn't BS. It's real. And you can see him getting worked by longer pass rushers in his tape. It's good tape, he's a good player, but he's not worth #4 overall, and I don't think he projects that well to tackle in the NFL. I don't think any of the tackles are worth #4 by the way.

People are clamoring for Simmons because pre-injury he was probably the best tackle in college. Banks and Conerly are right there with him, and I think Membou is the only one in the draft with a ceiling that could be a superstar. I think Ersery could be a solid pro, and should be there at 38 as well.
Trapilo had a great week at the Senior bowl playing both left and right tackle. Green didn't bull rush over him.

So the OC WAS HORRIBLE?

WITH a decent OL, I Feel this team can be decent, even as constructed, and I know it'll be better when we're done.
I hope folks will continue to call them 5 win...they will get SMASHED when they get 8+.
Book it, I'll be here either way.
