OK all you TRex fans. Now is your chance to make it happen....

Bingo. Imagine taking a player at 4th overall who has below average measurables? 4th overall is where you get the generic athletic freaks.

People are way too obsessed with the left tackle position. The truth is there isn’t a left tackle in this draft worthy of 4th overall.

Trade.

THE****.

Down.

REGARDLESS OF WHO’S AVAILABLE.

This is The Way.

I like the idea of Campbell at 4 and Donovan Jackson at 39. If campbells arms end up a problem, they can flip spots as Jackson has tackle arms and was good there for Ohio state. Gives you a hedge at LT while solidifying the left side of the line for years.
Probably need to realize you’re drafting a LG at 4. Not ideal. Team is in the bottom tier of talent.

Will Campbell has everything except arm length. Carlton Davis, the fa CB pickup, is reported to have longer ones.

Yes I think the legs for arms on CD has been well documented by me! LOL

I think the you are right. If Hunter is there at #4, I doubt they pick Wallace or Membou instead of Hunter. Hunter and Higgins in R1 and R2 is not a "trenches first" approach but it sure would solve our WR problem. Then the third is Trapillo and Grant, with Trapillo and Wallace competing for the RT spot.

Even if the Pats pass on Higgins in R2 and sign a vet WR, R2 will probably be D line, not OT.
Yes to Hunter at 4 if he is there. No to Higgins in the second.

If Hunter is gone, and I sort of think he will be, then the Patriots have a problem. Campbell at 4 seems like reach. Ideally they should trade down, but they will have trouble finding trade partners....why, oh why did they beat the Bills in the last game and pee away the first overall pick? They cannot even lose when they need to. The trade down possibilities at one would have been outstanding.

Wills needs to go back to RT. Sure sign him but he is RT competition imo.
Vrabel was with Cleveland last year, and he has shown no interest in Wills or Elijah Moore, I’m sure he his reasons for that.

Campbell said that he knows he has short arms so he studies that defenders that he will face each week and determine how they like to win (length, speed, power) and then he gets with his OL coach to come up with the best plan to neutralize them.

I still prefer Membou if we are stuck at 4 with no trade down option.

Will Campbell=Robert Gallery Part Deux?

32 1/4” arms will get you every time.

Galllery, taken 2 in the first round, was dominant in college at Iowa.

Briefly was with the Patriots as I read about today.

The experience will likely be duplicated by Campbell. He’ll be moved to LG.

Except they won't get you every time, because there are 5 current starters in that range. And when quibbling over 1/8ths of an inch, Campbell's are 3/8" longer than Gallery's.

There are also guys with 35" arms that have busted.

It's not really. The combine measurements were consistently lower at the combine than the Senior Bowl. Trapilo came in about .5" longer at his pro day too.

That's my point. Everyone and his brother knew the measurement would be "favorable" on the pro day.
