Dorsey will be 1 or 2; do no one can move down if they want Dorsey

Someone would have to pay a ton (valuewise)to get the number 1 spot, but it would be cheaper to play your cards, then jump at the Rams spot, where the value is conderably cheaper when making a trade. Plus, the Dolphins can't move too far down to get Glenn Dorsey.

Until yesterday, I could not imagine a scenario where Miami does not pick Dorsey at #1.

But now they have the big Tuna on board and he is going to bring in his gang and they are probably moving to a 3-4 defense. I am not ure Dorsey can cut it in a 3-4 defense.

If you are an UFA playing in Dallas this year, chances are you have a home waiting for you in Miami if you want it.

I wouldn't be surprised if Dorsey slips a bit. My reasoning is that his penetrating style is a 4-3 fit. His skill as a pass rusher are really not that significant in the NFL at the 4-3 DT position; maybe 4-5 sacks a year is great production in the NFL from DT, which isn't really #1 overall worthy in some people's minds. Tommie Harris lasted to the mid teens with a similar resume. Also I heard rumors Dorsey played much lighter than his listed weight, somewhere around 295. Haynesworth, for example, is a freakish 6'6'' 320. If Dorsey checks in at 6'1'' 295, he may turn off some folks. Plus, his knee needs a good checking out. All that said, he is a great college player.

IMO the players Parcells would draft are

Chris Long: fits the 3-4, safe pick
Matt Ryan: reminds him of Phil Simms
Vernon Gholston: DWare/Merriman type

If you seen most of our games, the thing we lacked was a pass rush, and that is why I feel Gholston makes the best sense for this team. If I was running the Rams, I am going after Max Starks hard from the Steelers, because he is 25 years old, and has some experience playing both Tackle postitions, and then if possible trade down and pray that Gholston slides.
