I am pretty sure that Hunter Henry is talented. Actually I am pretty sure you don't get to the league if you're not talented. I understand that talent in the NFL has levels but it is very annoying to listen to fans ***** about people that are much more talented than they are.

Sorry huge pet peeve because those guys have put years into their craft all for some fat **** sitting on the couch saying he has not talent and does not belong in the league. If you take offense to this then you are the fat **** that I refer.
You just answered it within your rant I put in bold.

The fact someone like yourself got so worked up about it, defend people you don’t even know and try to debate this is actually quite disturbing.

Yes, like the great idea of giving Pittsburgh the 4 for George Pickens, or the demands to sign Calvin Ridley last offseason. So many incredible opportunities flying around on offense. Hell, they could have gotten 8th string Pro Bowler Dan Moore for a measly 80+ million $$$&, what a deal??? What a great way to build a winner, grossly overpay barely mediocre players because some fans are having a tantrum. You know, like the one you were having the first day of free agency. I’m sorry if that hurts you, it must have been pretty embarrassing. Kind of like pooping yourself in public I would guess. I won’t bring it up again, unless you say something stupid again, then I will, sorry, just can’t help myself.
Stopped reading after the first sentence. If you're unironically trying to defend the Patriots offensive moves and roster you can continue yelling at the wall.

Yes, I know, but I have had 3 friends that were fringe nfl that guys stuck around for 3-4 years and seeing the work and effort they put into it was pretty awe inspiring. Then to listen to people that are not able to even get to the doorstep of the NFL bash people that did is pretty frustrating.

While I don't know the people we are referring to now, it is the same as listening to people bash my friends. It's a me thing that I need to realize is not an attack on my friends.

These are the same people who tell you Sidy Sow and Verdarian Lowe are good.

... they are not...

Im sorry, but then i cant criticize any sport, or art even, bc they are "more talented" than me?

Sorry again, but **** Polk, **** Baker, **** Bourne (just a little). They are better wrs than me, but **** them.
Obviously you can criticize and by my saying its a pet peeve has no bearing on what you do. This is a me thing because I take it as attacks against people I know.

I know that when people say this guy sucks it is in reference to the level they are at. Like I said this is a me thing that I need to deal with.

There is an ignore button. Nothing worse than posters *****ing about other posters *****ing.
I don't want to ignore anyone because even "those people" have good points. lmao

by those people I mean the ones that have no joy in their life.

Is your tantrum finished, or do you want to keep insisting the Patriots overpay to fill needs with ****ty players?

You made such a fool of yourself on the first day of free agency that even you knew you were being an idiot.

I can understand we were not Aggressive the last few years but since Vrabel came in I knew they would be aggressive.
Why can’t you just be a man and admit that you made some bold faced comments that were totally false and are happy things are changing.
Instead you totally disregard that the talent this year was only on the defensive side of ball which the Patriots rebuilt one side of the ball in one year
You play the offensive side of the ball so you can save face. Knowing there was **** talent out there
Truthfully that’s childish
You hid for the first days of FA. Instead of being excited and hoping we can semi build the middle of our roster and draft heavy on the Offense side
When people started wondering about the Offense side you came back into the picture spewing comments without backing them up with players we totally missed out on. Not players with warts or did not want to come here. Just superior offense players that we refused to go get
Chill out and try to enjoy being a Patriots fan

If anything this makes it MORE likely they're taking a QB at 3.
I just have this suspicion that either the Browns, the Giants, or a team who trades up with them, will end up taking Dart instead of Sanders in some big “draft night surprise”.

If it means Carter drops to the Pats then let's hope you're right

Another unhinged homer added to the ignore list

If I thought Carter was the same caliber of player Micah Parsons is I would be all for taking him at 4, but I don’t. However I do hope he is there, because I believe the Bears would part with their 41 to come up and get him. And I believe the Patriots can get a tackle they want at 10, andvtrr he en have the Capitol (38 & 41) to move back up into the middle of the first round and get Mathew Golden. I see this as their best draft scenario.

If Carter falls to 4, I do think there will be some trade up interest from other teams for sure. If Hunter falls instead then I don’t think there will be as much interest, but probably some. If neither fall, there will likely be almost none.

There is work left to be done, but as long as they finish it off this will be a very good off season.

Defensively
Interior DL was very bad last year. They added Williams, and it appears Barmore will be ready to go. White can be both a DT and the big DE on running downs. We added Tonga for depth and now the guys who were playing major snaps are reserves. I’d like to see a draft choice here.

EDGE Added Landry plus Chaisson for depth. Jennings back to a part time role is good. Like to see a draft pick here too.

LB Added Spillane and Gibbens and getting Bentley back.

CB Added a strong CB2. I think we need more depth.

S Added Epps who will be a big help.

Offense
Qb. Added Dobbs, meh, but needed someone.

Rb. Needs to be addressed but if they make Gibson the 3rd down back we can easily draft a backup. I like Jennings too. Unfilled need but not worried yet.

WR So far this is the failure. We are NFL worst at WR and Ohio States WRs last year were better than we have. We have been rumored in in a bunch of guys. Godwin I get, he just wasn’t leaving but Metcalf, Deebo, Kupp,, Adams, Cooks all ended up elsewhere and we have a gaping need they could have helped fill. Diggs wasn’t signed, hopefully they get that done.
Not fixing this prevents the of season for being a success. We can’t just accept the worst WR group, by far, in the league. We at least need to sign a guy that would be our 1 and draft a wr no later than round 2.

TE. Good here, but need some youth.

OL. We entered the off season with only 2 OL who have any business being on the field, at least as starters. We added C and RT to those 2 Gs. We signed a veteran IOL for depth. We have Wallace and Robinson for development. We lack a LT. Again, the off season isn’t a success if this isn’t fixed. I would have liked to get a vet and a draft pick, but it looks like we need a LT in round 1 and he needs to play day 1.

We have filled a lot of needs and improved the roster dramatically but the 2 biggest holes, with no one on the roster to fill them haven’t been addressed. Filling those makes it a great off season, not filling them leaves us with holes that make it hard to compete.

That is fine, but please don't complain about the other posters you don't want to "ignore". It is OK to complain about what they comment on, but complaining about the posters themselves is tiring.

Micah Parson is a special, tier 1 talent in the NFL. Even if Abdul Carter’s ceiling ends up being a tier below that, he’s a must at 4 if he’s there. Fortify that front seven. Have to be careful about trade downs. That’s how they ended up with Ja’Lynn Polk and Javon Baker when they could’ve just stayed put and taken Ladd McConkey.

Yeah?l!! How about you not complaining about the folks who complain about the complainers!!!!!!!
